Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
Dave would also really really love the current Amazing X-Men series, I think. Really respectful of Kurt's personality, as his creator saw him. Great time to be a Nightcrawler fan... AT LAST !!!!!!!!

X-Men first class was so great I saw it three times. ^^
Loved young Magneto and Xavier. Loved Azazel and Mystique.
If a sequel is released, do you think we could see Kurt's parents together ? And perhap's a baby Crawler bamfing ??
I sure hope so. ^^

AoA Crawler would be fine. This would end years of "priest and not fun" Kurt.
Fingers crossed !

It would really be difficult for me to talk with Mr Fraction without saying Kurt's death was the lamest idea ever.
If he wasn't pleased with this idea, he should have resisted, he should have tried to save him.
Anyway, thanks for your effort and explanations, Ult-Sm86.

True words, Angelique. I remember how much Dave loved his creation, and how he considered the elf to be his alter ego. I'm glad he didn't see this stupid cross-over. At least, he saw X2, the solo title, Colossus's come-back. Personaly, I'm not against death in comic books. I like it when popular cha...

How should nightcrawler return?
Sorry, folks. We can't "get over it" like that. For a lot of posters here, Nightcrawler is really, really special. He represents the heart and soul of the Marvel Universe. It's a subjective point of view, but it's ours. Marvel for me equals Nightcrawler. These days, I prefer discovering ne...

Might I suggest Clandestine? Two short series were done (along with an x-men crossover), written and drawn by Alan Davis. Talk about pure fun. To me it is what more comics should be. If you liked early excalibur then you should enjoy it. Start with the first series because the second gets a little ...

But I'm so good at being sad... I'm open to some manga, novel, movie or TV show suggestions though... Hello Nandy. Here my suggestions, all the things I watch and read that make me feel good, now that Nightcrawler is in comic books limboes. Comics : . Hellboy. BPRD. Witchfinder. And all the Mignola...

I just fail to see the purpose of boycotting a comic you could possibly enjoy because your favorite character in another multiiverse/team died. I stop buying those books, and I watch those sales plummet as the rest of my cohortes do the same, that's how I see my point being made. How is your point ...

Diablo, I couldn't agree more. Marvel is making a lot of efforts to breathe new life into their stories and while I do call their "Women of Marvel U" a crock of shit,--being they've canceled the two most relatable female characters books, and undermine the relationship MJ has with Peter t...

Well...I've officially dropped all my X-Titles. I haven't been enjoying them...or really even reading them...for a very long time...probably since most of them became The Scott and Emma Show...with very special Guest Star: Wolverine! Even if Kurt does return, I'm not sure I will. I'm actually feeli...

Wait a minute! Kurt died?! I guess I should have actually been reading my comics...but they've been so uninteresting lately I've just been bagging them and putting them away. Now there's nothing to keep my reading. And the Turtles have finished now that they've been sold to Viacom...which leaves me...

I must add to this- I see John Byrne gets no love here. I think he defenitely deserves credit for developing the X-men into their current form, and some of the best classic stories. He may not always be so popular as a person, but there is no denying his elegant style that is always so easy on the ...

To BAMF ! :
I don't know this "Sword is drawn" guy, but I totally agree with him. ^^
The first Fraction story got me worried the same way.
Peter David or Dan Slott's Nightcrawler could have been HUGE !

Or maybe it's because, with the notable exception of the Nightcrawler solo book, he hasn't been really a compelling or "mourn worthy" character. In a way, I've been mourning Nightcrawler for years. -e I understand your feeling. The end of his solo book made me really depressed. Marvel had...

Writers borrow from Shakespear all the time. Sorry the Nightcrawler is real sour grapes for you....but trust me....you will only have to put up with it for a year or so until Matt Fraction or whoever rez's blue boy up. I'm quite sure Mr Fraction is not fan enough of the elf to do that. As for comme...

OK, I didn't want to but I bought Uncanny. Just for the Wolverine reaction. Which was cool. The rest of this comic book is dull. Kurt's funeral seems cheap, really unreal. You can't kill a character who existed for 35 years just like that. Fraction pisses me off. He's SO in love with Cyclops, everyb...

I'll take the middle road on the religion angle. It doesn't have to be eliminated, but it should be toned down. I agree with that. It's a question of subtlety. I understand his faith can be important for a part of his fans. But as I said elsewhere, Dave Cockrum, Nightcrawler's creator, wasn't pleas...

Great to see you there,Paty.
We're kinda "sad and disgusted" too.
Since last week, I'm not reading Marvel anymore.
Luckily, Dark Horse is publishing fine, fine books.
And I still like Savage Dragon.
(but let's face it : Hellboy and Dragon are no Kurt !)
