Dave Cockrum Original Artwork
Dave Cockrum, you're most certainly a fan favorite and a true gentleman for honoring a fan with a lifetime memory of meeting you at the convention and a souvenir sketch. What did you end up drawing? The main reason I ever go to the conventions is meeting the comic book creators and it's always a bon...

The rumor of X-men 4...
Yes, the X-Movies are a bit tired with the same theme of prejudices in society and alienation. They should go back to some of the fun times and make a movie that's like Spider-Man, nice, bright, energetic and high energy and action packed. Arcade can be crazy like Bullseye or the Joker in the movies...

Arcade's Murderworld is in Marvel Team Up #65 and #66 as well as The Uncanny X-Men #123-124 and Dave Cockrum's Uncanny X-Men issues, I think #146 which has a beautiful cover and maybe #145 and #147. Conan O'Brien would make a good Arcade if he were ever to do movie acting.

The rumor of X-men 4...
X-Men 4 should be based on Cockrum's Giant Sized X-Men #1 and introduce new characters saving the old ones and a changing of the guard... and get rid of Magneto as the same villian, bring in ARCADE'S MURDERWORLD...

Jump the Shark:When a comic goes downhill
When Marvel created it's 2nd "Mutant" book and began their exploitation of the X-Titles through so many books per month and too many crossovers and long stories of cosmic grandeur or in alternate universes or the future that were supposedly epic, but quite frankly boring and confusing... T...

Dave what do you think of John Byrne's penciling of X-Men?
John Byrne's work was only as good as his inker who cleaned up his mess. If you notice, I think it's Terry Austin's inks that makes his run on X-Men sharp. Austin inks has cleaned up many artists work and turned them into masterpieces. All work done by Byrne subsequently, just look at that sloppy lo...

Dave Cockrum Original Artwork
Mr. Cockrum, Thank you for your verification. It's much appreciated. Are you doing any more recreations or commissions, or are you retired from doing work? What was the last published piece you did? I heard you were originally going to do something in the Giant Sized X-Men #3 issue by Joss Whedon. Y...

Dave Cockrum Original Artwork
Mr Cockrum, I was wondering if you would be able to confirm this piece here is authentic: http://www.virtualcomicartcon.com/0786.jpg It's a cover recreation for Giant Sized X-Men #1 that I beleive you did back in 2002 (the piece is dated) that I was considering buying. I also wanted to know if you k...
