Civil War II X-Men
So, as many of you have read, Extraordinary X-Men has been going for several issues now and features Nightcrawler in his only monthly title. It sucks, and I'm not afraid to admit that. However, I just read the X-Men tie-in to Civil War II and wow. Cullen Bunn kills it. I loved this comic, not only b...

Agree on many points Garble. I'll post a link to my full review here as soon as it is online. My biggest paragraph is on Nightcrawler, of course.

Great observations guys! All sound plausible, but I think it's been drilled into him that he will die if he cannot see his destination when Bamfing. Also, here's a fan theory for you: after DoFP, the time line changed but some outcomes remain constant, like Wolverines adamantium claws. I think his s...

Re: "Where to start" Comics for a Nightcrawler fan?
So, as a Nightcrawler fan, Excalibur is a great place to start. With a few exceptions, the last 50 issue are not very Nightcrawler- centric despite him being the team leader. Issue 16 is a great Nightcrawler spotlight, but really anything with Claremont or Davis on the creative team is good stuff......

Re: Nightcrawler in Extraordinary X-men
The exception being the Nightcrawler solo title by Claremont & Nauck... Also, I know it doesn't really count, but Remender treated Kurt Darkholme pretty well and Pak featured Kid Nightcrawler as much as anyone else... I'm a great proponent of him being a member of a smaller or non-X team. Rememb...

Re: this coffee tastes astounding!
After several months of a computer that refuses to connect to the internet, it magically started working again today!! Also, on Saturday I get to have some comics signed by Skottie Young and am picking up the final two issues of Excalibur to complete the entire run! Woohoo!

Re: Nightcrawler in Extraordinary X-men
I really did enjoy the issue, but I agree. Needed more Kurt. I am concerned about his plight. That cover for Issue 7 is awesome, but worrisome... It's good to be back.

Inferno
So, as part of Secret Wars, there's a short relaunch of the Inferno Event of the 90s, only the X-Men lost so the whole city is overrun by demons and crap. Basically Colossus is trying to save his sister Illiana and Nightcrawler's on the team to help (with Domino and others). Pretty pumped... starts ...
