Hellboy Movie Offical Thread
*delurks* I've been looking forward to this movie ever since I saw screen-shots in Wizard about it. I had known about the comics before I heard about the movie, but I didn't know what they were about, and I just assumed it was one of those "I'm a big brooding red guy who kicks things in the ass...

Well I'm number 2886. I hope the show doesn't get canceled. There are plenty of shows on the WB that really blow, and I would hope that the people at WB would be smart enough not to cancel one of their more popular shows.

That "Big in 2003" show is on today on VH1, and Alan Cumming is one of the interviewees. If ya'll are a fan of Alan, you might want to check it out. I saw them flash a picture of Pirates of the Caribean, so they might be talking about X2 as well.
I hope no one's already pointed this out.

Sam Raimi can do no wrong! I'm so excited!
I hear that because it's his second big budget film, Sam Raimi is more relaxed and he'll be doing some of his kick ass Evil Dead-esque shots.
All I can say is Doc Ock is giving Nighty a run for his money.

Uncanny X-Men General Discussion
i liked the art in the last book. It was a lot better than Tan's, at least. I was getting tired seeing faces act all suprised at nothing. There was one line, though, where the art bugged me, and that's when Azazel mentioned his tail, when he was clearly drawn without a tail. I don't like when things...

Singer has been trying to get the Danger Room in since the beginning, but the budget would never allow it. As soon as they can, I'm sure we'll be seeing the danger room.
I would love to see Angel. Just because of the wings.

Do people *know* that you're a Nightcrawler fan?
My friend Holly makes everyone little sculpy statues for birthdays and christmas and stuff. She gave me my present yesterday. It was a little statue of Nightcrawler!
So yeah, people know that I'm a little bit...obsessive about Nightcrawler.

Crap in a hat. I keep on doing that. I'm really really sorry. I've never had this problem on any of the other boards I go to, so I always forget to check the file size. That and I'm apparently retarded.

I posted the lineart to this before, but now I finally finished the drawing! This is the first drawing I've colored with a tablet, so keep that in mind. ;) It's wierd, there's a split between people who think the face looks good and people who think the face looks wierd. I personally like the face, ...

I have the opinion that any Nightcrawler = good. Well, that's not entirely true (I'm not too wild about him being the son of the devil, but what'cha gonna do?), but those hybrids do look cool! It all depends on the writing at this point. If it makes sense that Nightcrawler is going to be mixed with ...

Oh yeah, I really liked Prof X and Scott "escaping" Alkali Lake. It made it more plausible for Xavier to be clouded so easily. I'm sad that it got cut out.

Yeah, Magneto is awsome. There was a line that Brian Singer said in the first X-Men somewhere during a shoot, after Ian McKellen did some wire work. He said that he was "Very Magneto." My friends and I use that phrase now when we're pointing out how cool something is. It's Very Magneto.

I know it was in the original script to have a Toad/Nightcrawler fight. Which I would've drooled over. I love Toad. My favorite scene for action is the first scene. It's one of the best openers I've ever seen in a movie. I also really enjoy the "Kurt Wagner, but in the circus I was billed as th...

For being such an unpopular character, it's a wonder that Marrow made it into the Marvel VS Capcom games. I don't know much about her, but she looks pretty cool. I always wondered why they felt the need to create a new character. There are whole books full of of X-Men characters, so you'd think that...

I remember from an old Brian Singer interview that he would like to have Beast, a Sentinal, or the Danger Room in the next movie. I also heard that Halle Berry won't be playing Storm anymore. I hope they just get rid of her instead of replacing her. I don't like it when they replace actors like that...

I really loved Alan Cumming as Nightcrawler. I thought he looked a lot like the comic versions (for the same reasons Sorte pointed out: long face..ect.). I thought he was perfect for the part. I have no complaints.

I got mine today! But my friend Adam works at a game/dvd/computer store so he got his on Friday. We watched it on Friday. It was good. I almost got the 4 disk X-Men and X2 collection, but then I would have had three versions of X-Men. Which is a little excessive for a movie that doesn't have Nightcr...

I just bought some Hot Topic brand fangs at Hot Topic (where else?), and they work pretty good. Although the custom crap isn't reusable, like other fangs have. They're cool and hell, man.

Beast Boy! Yeah, I love him. His personality is kinda Kurt-ish. He could look like Kurt if he wanted to, seeing that he's a shape-shifter.

Squirrel isn't that unusual of a food, really. I live in rural Missouri and people hunt squirrel all the time. I've never had it, but I know many people who have. They say it tastes pretty good. And that it makes a good stew.
