Question about Bamfing....

Bamf question: I had a brainfart about one of my own characters being able to track/teleport; that is: pick up an object once carried by someone, and teleport to that person (the way a tracking dog could find someone by scenting a piece of their clothing). Has Nighty ever done anything like this? Co...

Gypsies

There was an excellent contemporary fantasy written by Canadian author Charles de Lint called Mulengro, which had as central characters the modern "gypsies" of Toronto (Rom). He generally does his research well, and it may be a more accurate image of the culture, at least in fiction. Autho...

Nice! Keep drawing. Nice design, good color. Love the bamf effect. Nice animated/cartoon version of Kurt. Hands are a pain, so's perspective, just use the mirror a lot.

There's a whole scene in one of the Essential X-Men (the big reprint volumes) right after Phoenix dies, and before Nighty mixes it up with the wendigo. (Working from memory here, book's not in front of me) He's unpacking an SUV, and staring off into the sunset. He says something like; "look at ...

Nightcrawler toy

When was the suction cup version done? I can't remember when or where I found him, but he lived on my truck window with Spiderman for years, got lost in the "toy bin" and resurrected when I rediscovered X-Men. He now has a place of honor on the bookshelf over the graphic novels. He's got a...

Tail Spade

The only thing I've handled with a prehensile tail is various Virginia 'Possums. The end of the tail is rather like a friendly snake, it curls and grips quite effectively, unlike the cat's tail which is twitchy, but ineffective in gripping. There are tiny bones right out to the end (as in a snake's ...

I can't DO this!!! Can someone help me PLEASE!

It's not as bad as you think. The cure is to look in the mirror. OK, you have to pick up a broomstick or pull that cutlass off the wall or something and set down your pencil, then pose, and look, and then put down the cutlass and pick up the pencil and try to remember what you saw. You could have so...

The last one is awesome (the white on black of Kurt) the girls' portraits are wonderful sketches, nice loose lines. Keep a sketchbook and carry it around and doodle. That's how you get less pathetic. Hey nice. Like the feeling in Kuroro ones, the emotion.

The churchyard scene has some nice atmosphere, good colors.

I had some luck with a graphics tablet and Photoshop 4.0 (not quite Cretaceous, merely Pleistocene) Keep drawing.
