What would you do?

1) Be very surprised and not know what to say, it dosen´t happen very often that people you have never ever talked to before makes a move like that. 2) Try to get as good a look of him as I could with out him noticing that I was looking at him, then hurry home and call my fellow geeks and and say:&q...

GRAND MAGNETO THREAD

That is a plausible theory Nightcrawler Zero, I have also thought about Astra being involved in the appearance of the fake Magneto.

What price will prevent you picking up a comic?

I really don´t have a limit to how much I will pay for a comic book if it looks appealing enough. I Denmark comic books are usually rather expensive, especially the original Danish ones. Out of principle I buy all original Danish books that are remotely apealling even if the cost up to 20$. Since Ji...

Ongoing series... fated to be bad?

Originallity is not the trademark of super hero comics, or the epic fantsatic literature as such. Themes and achetypes are usually recyled over and over again. Writers borrow from and copy eachother all ther time. Example: In Spiderman 2, a lovely superhero movie that I really enjoyed, Harry Osborne...

Is Xavier a .... or what? * title edited by a mod*

Personally I think Xavier is one of the most important character in the X-world. With out him there would be no X-men. It is, after all, his dream that keeps the heros going, and it is through his guidience that the X-men learned to use their powers and use them for a higher cause. I agree with Paty...

Fur?

I think a lot of fans noticed that movie Nightcrawler lacked fur. For my part I can only say that it did not bother me much. In the comic books Kurts doesen´t look that fury. Actually I had been reading the books for years before I found out that Night Crawler had a fur coat because Kitty Pryde ment...

As allways a lovely picture! I have said it before but I vill say it again, I really admire your professionalism, and your personal style.
IMHO Marvel ougth to hire you as artist.

And of course I am longing for an up date on your comic too.

Are Nightcrawler and the X-Men too whiny?

I think whining is sort of a trademark of the X-men, like Spiderman is always afraid to break Aunt Mays heart, and Batman is always depressed about the death of his parents, the X-men always whine about how much society hates them.

Excalibur General Discussion

I just picked up Excalibur 2# a few day ago. I must say Chris Claremont is back in action! The story has an air of over all cuteness I have not seen since back at CCs first run on X-men. Wicked is such an achetypical Claremont character, a tough little girl with a big heart, i like that. I also real...

GRAND MAGNETO THREAD

I have this strange idea that Morrisons Magneto and Chlaremonts Magneto are equally valid, and equally nessecary for the character to be three dimentional and intersting. Yes, I know that the Magneto we saw in Planet X turned out not to be the real Magneto after all, but I think the Morrison version...

What are your favorite Nightcrawler stories?

I belive you are right about Kurts Christianity in the Dracula story Shadowdancer. It´s is the first time we are told that Nightcrawler is a beliver. Uncanny #165 (middle of "the brood" strory line) has this great scene between NC and Wolverine concerning faith. Logan sees Nightcrawler pra...

Bamfette, I know that comic time passes very slowly, I am aware that NC has not aged 29 years since he first joined X-men. But I did not mention anything about his age did I? All I said was that the way I see it, NC had developed a more serious side to his personality all ready in Claremonts first r...

What are your favorite Nightcrawler stories?

The grafic novel "Gods Loves Man Kills" is great, and Kurt has a great part in it.

The classic story "Kittys Fairy Tale" in Uncanny X-Men #153 in wich the "Bamf" appears the first time, is truly amusing.

Priest...ow well...

Personally I became a Nightcrawler fan before the Excalibur series. As far as I remember Nightcrawler has already developed into a more serious character in the last years of Claremonts fist run on X-men. The Nightcrawler who returned to X-men after Excalibur is pretty much the Nightcrawler I remebe...

Who do you think Nighty will hook up with?

Wolverine and Nightcrawler should be together, not like happily ever after, but it could be fun if there freindship became a little more than Platonic for a while.

Gambit

I don´t like him because I think he is boring. His power is not really intersting in my opinion, probably because is so "easy- to- use", it does not have a down side to it. There is a down side to being Rogue, Cyclops, Phoenix, Nightcrawler, Wolverine, Marrow, Chamber, Iceman ( at least i...

Gambit

I think Diablo is right, Gambit would make a fine adversary. He could be the "not- very -evil-but -rather-oppotunist" type. That would become him better than being an X-man. I as far as I know, Gambit does not give a lot of thought to Proffesor Xs dream and goals anyway.

Van Helsing-The Movie

I think it was faily entertaining, the romance between Van Helsing and Anna was keept down to the one kiss, and that is a good thing. Carl the friar, and Frankensteins monster were the best charater concepts. Dracula and Van Helsing were more or less clichés throughout the whole movie, however, they...

Excalibur General Discussion

Am I the only one who does not think that Morrison and Claremont are not mutually exclusive. Morrison is one of the few writers who have been portraying X-men with a much psycological insight as Claremont did in his first period as a writer on the series. The psycological angel on the the characters...

Best Comicbook Writer, All-time

The greatest comic book writer and artist of all time is Denmarks Claus Delauran. Otherwise René Goscinny, and Enkil Bilal of France are geniuses in there different fields. When it comes to British/ American writers I find it hard to choose between the ones listed in the poll, because they are all g...

The Worst over used Tag Line by heroes

The worst super hero line ever has got to be Robins "Holy hole in the doughnut" from the TV series. When it comes to X-men I agree that most of what Wolverine says becomes pretty anoying after a while. In the early Claremont years the X-men, when they cursed, used to say "What the bla...

Ein Bischen Frieden.

When I regained consciousness, I found myself lying on a plank bed in a cell somewhere in what had to be Magnetos new stronghold. I tried to lift my head from the bed, and felt the unplesant, sligthly choking presence of an inhibition collar. I was not surprised at this. With my ability to teleport,...
