Art - Walking Home Second Draft

This won't hurt I promise!!! The male body is about 8 heads tall, so from the top of the head to the bottom of the heal it should fit 8 of the sized head you have. It's an easy way to check your proportion. Also, the crotch is the halfway point. Not the hips or stomach, which most people will tell y...

What!!! I don't want a soap-opera Avengers. The Avengers have a history of political undertones anyway. That's crap.

I wont post it unless you say I can though. oh please, oh please, oh please!!!! If not, I just posted a schpeil on body proportions in the seriouse crit. *hinting, hinting, hinti...

I won't if you don't want me too. But I don't mean anything harsh when I crit. I'm a seriouse art student and trust me, our work will be torn appart by proffessors to the point that you never want to draw again, and then you'll get a A or B on it. It's just to make you better, not to hurt feelings.

Actually I think that the shoulder and arm are correct in how much is shown. I think that the collar is giving the effect that there is less shoulder than there should be. Also, there is a dramatic prespective that you took that makes the back arm look smaller than the front. But since that arm is u...

Way to use prespective and space in the composition!!! That's not always an easy thing to do. If you don't mind, I would like to give you one little pointer in the structure though. Jean and Scot are pretty much in the center of the peice, both vertically and horizonatly. That tends to make them a f...

If you don't mind me asking, what were these contradictions? I'm hoping it didn't have to do with the circulating team members. I really think that was a good idea. I'm actually dissapointed that he's leaving so soon, seeing as how I really liked what he wrote for the Captain America title a while b...

I have an aversion to JLA. I won't read anything that has to do with them. I only like the flash and MMH some, and I ofcourse love Batman. The rest can just fall into limbo as far as i'm concerned. I's like to see that mach up, but not enough to buy anything JLA.

I just heard a rumor that Chuck is going to leave the Avengers after a second arc. Is this true? I know that a lot of writers are being swiched around, but it never crossed my mind that the Avengers were a part of it. If anyone has any info on this I'd like to hear it please!!

What? That's lame. Was it a cartoon or comic? If it was a cartoon it doesn't count. I only count things that occure in comics. Cartoons, like movies, tend to change things alot. I don't follow the hulk though... he is much stronger, so I guess him winning has some real merrit. I would think that it ...

Peolple are going to get sick of me saying this, but it's something I honestly belive in. What you do, how you act, and how you treat others determines if you're a good person or not. It doesn't matter what faith (if any) you are!!! A good hearted person is a good person, and a cruel person is a bad...

Yeah, the Martian Man Hunter would destroy. He has so much going for him... from shape shifting to phasing. He's pretty bad. Now the Manhunter vs. the Vision would be a tough fight. I'd enjoy that very much. Has Ben Grim ever went up against the Hulk? That could be interesting too. I mean on strengh...

Did anyone pick up the Captin America and Wolverine book out? The art work is really cool and it seems like it's going to be a good story. So far it's my two favorite Avengers (Warbird and the Cap.) Wolverine and Forge. The art's rather wicked too.

You're welcome. :D nice to meet you. Last I heard it was sepreation of curch and state and not the seperation of church and comics. People get bent out of shape it seems because A)they want to seem politically and socialy progressive or B) their religion isn't being depicted so it's a travesty to ha...

I thought this was all really amusing becuase I didn't realize that her tail actually did retract. I find that a little disturbing. I mean, birds call all folt their wings, but I"m hard pressed to think of an animal that can retract it's tail. Seeing as how unatural it is, I'd go with one of the mor...

Is Nightie a virgin?????

I can't imagine that a girl that had been on a date with movie crawler would be suprized that he didn't want to get down. He's obviously very spiritual. If they had their hopes up enough to cry, well, then they really didn't know him at all. Probably a girl woulnd't try and go that far without knowi...

I sort of got the feeling that she initialy started to befriend Rouge to get close to the X-Men, and I mean it in a bad way. By the end though, I think that she did realize the Rouge needed a friend outside of the X-Men and tried to be that. I mean she took Rouge to that concert, if I remember right...

I have a similar question. I only use my personal computer on this site so I guess it doesn't matter too much, but it still bothers me. You mean how big a part will he have right? Probably not very large. There's a whole arsenal of mutants rumored to be in it. I think it's posted on another thread that the count was 5. Even if there were only two or three, there wouldn't be a big story for each of them, especially if they're going t...

Preeeeesenting, the ugliest car in the world: the 2004 Toyot

I think that the Element or Aztek still gets the crown for ugliest car ever. Toyota usually has a reason for their designs though... at least when they're that ugly. I have to give them credit for the Prius though. Has anyone seen them? They're the only hybrid car that I wouldn't be embarassed to dr...

I agree. I've heard so many people talking about how kurt's emotional responce should be put into a story, but why drag out a weak, already drawn out plot line further. Maybe if it hadn't gotten so long to begin with, I'd agree that there should be a folow up, but by the end of the arc I was bored w...
