This happened again, so I went ahead and fixed it. I'll look over the old messages and see if I can figure out what's making chat throw up.

What exactly makes you keep buying a comic?
I picked just one answer for the poll, but here's a longer one ... I like a compelling story that leaves me wanting to know what happens next. It doesn't have to be a cliffhanger; I just like to have some investment in both the characters and what's been happening to them. Books that don't have a co...

"Nightcrawler didn't catch the last remark, but if he had, he wouldn't have thought anything of it. There wasn't a joke or comment that could be made about the byproducts of his power that he hadn't heard already. Some of them actually made him laugh. Regardless, he always made it a point to sm...

I'll pick up comics based on good reviews in The Comics Journal - arguably that's a combination of word-of-mouth and artwork, since they usually run some sample panels. I'm more likely to buy a book on the strength of the writer's name than the artist's. I'll get pretty much anything Alan Moore writ...

This has already strayed somewhat from the original topic, but doesnt it always? Unstable molecules, maybe? All I know is that if I could design a line of women's clothes that fit no matter how big you got, I'd be richer than Bill Gates. Tucked away in the background in one of the early issues of Top Ten is an ad for "Stretch Gamma Pants". It's somewhere in the first T...

I've found a lot of Nightcrawler toys on eBay - more than I'm interested in having, in fact. You might still be able to find the 6" and 12" X2 figures. Kurt's also been included in a number of other X-Men sets over the years.

Angel of the Night, I've deleted your post because I believe it goes beyond the respect called for in the rules. Religion is a topic where it will not be possible for everyone to agree, but flat-out declaring that anyone is going to hell is not acceptable here.

I was surprised and pleased by Kurt's devotion to Gabriel in X2. I've always been fond of Gabriel, if you can use the word "fond" about a being so fearsome that he has to precede all his announcements with "Fear not". Gabriel is a herald, and in the Christian tradition it's his t...
