Oh, Kurt?

Rejection and Acceptance Kurt watched as Rogue deliberately delayed Betsy with some nonsense questions, and as Gambit realized it and left the room. He smiled and made his own exit. Bobby had told him to wait five minutes, then follow him to Kittys room. "Kurt?" Kitty came around a corner ...

Then 1. doesn't apply to Mormons or the others they've been saying it does, though, TS. Mormons live pretty much like everyone else. Sure, you can pick at a few of their religion-specific practices and say "See, this isn't like everyone else," but you can do this with devout Catholics, Bud...

Being that I am a member of a "minority" faith myself, neo-Paganism, I am willing to acknowledge that anyone calling her or himself a Christian who is not, say, practicing Islam and saying that Christ was stupid, is a Christian. Besides, I've been told by many "loving" Christians...

Hey, I put the blender in there just for you, hon. And the sundae. ;) But I'm not going to go utterly against type, like you did, and make him a born celibate. I still like the idea of him being a prankster more. :) There had to be some relief from all the angstiness they were going through, right g...

Just as an FYI, Lauren. I love your stories, hon. You know youre partly responsible for my really dark stuff on here, you angsty author, you. But I dont buy that Kittyd be so casual about preparing for a rape. Im sorry. I think any woman would be much more upset, at least initially. The way you have...

I was dancing, my partner's head close to mine. He whispered in my ear, "A blender?" "That is what it is commonly called." My son's voice answered him. Hmm? This didn't make any sense. "Why are you giving me a blender?" I snorted and woke up. The speaker above my head w...

"They actually "edited" things to make them "consistent"?" Yep, that's one of the reasons the evangelical Christians who sponsored it gave. :) They also may have done it in response to the RSV, which as I recall translated a word in a verse in Isaiah usually translated ...

"No words have been DELIBERATELY CHANGED from their original meaning,"
Erm...three letters. NIV. Certain discrepancies HAVE been edited to make them consistent with other parts of the Bible.

Ahem. Carry on, though. :)

Of course there's more! What's Rogue going to do? What's Kurt going to do? Is Charles going to try to offer her a position in the X-men, and who causes Kurt to fall down on top of a sundae for Lauren? Tune in next time, when you'll hear Wolverine say... "A blender? Why are you giving me a blend...

MOST extreme religious arguments become circular if you push. It's not just Mormons who are subject to this kind of behavior; fundamentalist Christians, extreme right Catholics, and non-religious crazies (e.g. John Birch Society) get that way if you challenge them.

Ahem. Not a Baptist, but I can tell you there are numerous divisions within that designation. There are liberal Baptist denominations, conservative Baptist denominations (e.g. Southern Baptists), and "independent" Baptists as well. Bill Moyers once said on his religion special on PBS, &quo...

Kurt blinked. "So what happened?" He would have to ask. I could tell him, but he would reject me. So I drew what remained of my tattered pride around me, and rejected him first. "I threw you away. I didn't want you any more." I turned my head to keep the tears from leaking out. &...

I'll take it up and try to finish it before tomorrow, but I'm not feeling very good today, so please be patient, mes amis!

Hmmmm....

I wonder how Heath Ledger or Elijah Wood would look as Nightcrawler...either would make the character look different and younger. That would make his diffidence a little more natural, too.

Move Kurt Gets De-flowered. (slashie!)

Oh yes...huge numbers of Fanfiction.net stories mention the Charles/Magneto thing.

I don't mind Charles having sex, I just think he should slack off a little or go totally gay instead of bi ;) considering how many kids he's had ... and they usually end up trying to destroy or take over the earth.

Rogue left me. I didn’t expect this. I knew her power was spiraling out of control, but I didn’t know how much pain she was in. I didn’t think she would become my enemy…my girl. My daughter. I was walking and thinking out behind the mansion, in one of the tracts of wilderness on the property. Maybe I’d check up on the deer in the northeast. See how they’d survived the winter. Something was wrong. Before I could do anything, the scents changed, and I was in a jungle. There had been sever...

Continued warning: More flirting, more naughtiness, don't read if you don't like. Enough said. Sean nodded to Psylocke and Rogue, the last to leave the room. He sighed. Someone always had to do clean-up after these things. Might as well be him. It'd be nice if the Wolverine wasn't so impulsive...sca...

Oh yeah...there are beaches in upstate New York, right? After all, we so frequently see the X-men at the beach :D

I'll consider that, actually, though I was also considering a "Bobby and Kurt team up on Kitty" thing...maybe Kurt just gets around a lot... ;)
