I'm going to have to disagree with you Love_o_ Bob. He gets a few good cameo moments and you want to say that this is better than alan davis excalibur Kurt? it's def. better than what we've seen in quite awhile (sad considering that this is for only a few pages) but he's had some good moments since ...

Does Nighty have this power?
It's possible that he might sense something if they teleport through the same dimension. If i remember correctly there is an older story where Crawler and Vanishers teleporting powers interfere w/ each other (i believe at the time they both were thought to use the same dimension) and they both end u...

I really wasn't impressed by the ultimate kurt bust. which version are you getting (black x-suit (limited) or shirtless)? All three Bowen Crawlers are pretty cool (small ($40) and large ($125) full bodied statues and the bust (??)). I unfortunately don't own the bust. The NECA (i believe) Crawler ba...

I got the Pirate bust, it was really cool (much better than i first image i saw). I also got the Dark Phoenix Nightcrawler statue. While the pose is cool, the face leaves a lot to be desired. He looks far to old. I finally got the new ultimate N.C. toy (with swords and sheaths) that has light up eye...

Fun comics
The fun that you put in your comics, along with the fabulous art, really made your comics stand out and makes them some of my favorites. I've heard a lot about T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, but have never been able to find any sort of collected editions. In fact when i ask about the comic at most places, t...

Fun comics
These days most comics aren't very fun. For the most part there are few comics nowadays that I really enjoy. But perhaps things are changing, as Marvel is letting Alan Davis do a new Clandestine series. If you never read it, it was both written and drawn by Davis and was very adventure and fun fille...

Speaking of Crawler toys, anyone have any idea when the Ultimate Crawler toy (toybiz) comes out?
If you've not seen it you can find a picture at the toybiz website under X-men 6" series 3.

Ultimate X Annual2
So what were peoples thoughts about Kurt from this issue? Personally I liked Ultimate Kurt being different. I liked how he was a bit of jerk to Cyke (early issues) and how he was very dangerous (not the moody idiot Kirkman had made him) but still somewhat caring (as shown by preventing Storm from ki...

Alan Davis is my favorite also.
I also enjoy Bachalo, Cockrum, Humberto Ramos, Jim Cheung, Adam Hughes, Salvadore Larroca, and Pacheco.

One of the reasons i comment is because a few of the original published pieces shown are owned by me. also this is a very common point of conversation on the comicart L. yahoo group.

while i love the gallery, i'd also like to make a complaint. some of these images are not directly from the comics and come instead from sites like comicartfans. if a pic is a piece of original art owned by someone, i think that you should ask permission to post it here. pics of original art are com...

Kurt doesn't have to use pistol grips for epee or foil, they still make the good 'ole French grip. Actually there are other advantages to using both hands. For instance, I fence both foil and epee in competitions. I fence foil with my left and epee with my right. This helps to prevent me from gettin...

prettyminotaur and Angelique, no offense, but most saberists are very aggressive and lack point control. of the three fencing weapons they tend to use brute force the most often (epee is close behind). Plus saber is different from the style Kurt has used before in his swashbuckling antics (tends to ...

who would win?
The entire situation is changed if either one of them know what is going on beforehand. For this to be a fair 'who would win', it must occur without either of them having time to prepare anything extra. Personally, I think that spidey's sense would be a slight help. Kurt doesn't have to throw a punc...

Clarisa_heart, Kurt doesn't need a sword to kick but. obviously you haven't read the old excalibur issues. i'd like for him to have one (but would need a different suit), but he hardly needs it. Actually, i've always enjoyed watching him use his agility and fighting skills to defeat an enemy (best r...

Hunter Killer is alright. Waid's writing is pretty good and Silvestri's art seems to fit.

For those who dislike Bachalo, i sympathize. I understand what it's like to have an artist you're not fond of on a title you like. Shadow Dancer- Guess you don't like Humberto Ramos :) Bamfette- 'Cartoony' viewed as slacking? that's just wrong. I can understand having a preference but that is ridicu...

Dave Cockrum original artwork in my collection
Very cool!
Thanks for the info.
I know that Paty also did some of the color art (if not all) for the N.C. limited series (i find it odd that they just put her first name in the credits). I think it would be awesome to have framed picture with Dave's page and Paty's color page.
