It's a Mutant!

January Jones has a boy! Ok, so this is something I've been following for...I suppose 9 months! I don't know why this is so engaging for me, but I think it's probably the scandal all mixed up with Xmen and I'm so in. So, the rumor is that the father is someone from the Xmen set. The question is who...

Thanks for those, Indigo! I'm not too familiar with Into the Woods, so I'm so happy that you shared that with me! I did When You're Good To Mama from Chicago at karaoke last night, and it was awesome. LOVE this song. I really enjoy the "tit for tat" line. I really enjoy Gershwin shows, and...

U.S. Postal Service In Grave Danger

What she said. Honestly though, you're right. This is a big problem and if it isn't resolved it could make us the 1st (and then only) country within the global market (that I ca think of) without a centralized, nationwide, postal service. Phil Rubio's Interview was the first I'd heard of the severi...

U.S. Postal Service In Grave Danger

This may be a topic that ends up in the Danger Room... This is a fucking mess. This is all symptomatic of a Republican Congress which is pushing for privatization of government programs for the benefit of the corporations they represent. And what it spells for the rest of the country is disastrous. ...

who would be your fave Nightcrawler and any X-women couple?

I would see Nightcrawler & Husk. Unfortunately, Warren tapped that. So I dunno how he would've handled it. But Darkholme might be the suave type and I can see him making a run for her. I wonder if they'll put Darkholme with anybody within his first 3-months of introduction? Would be a good way ...

If You Could Change Kurt...

Quote from NachtcGleiskette: "The truth of the matter is X2 Kurt =/= Comic Kurt and was never intended to be Comic Kurt. I've always looked at the movies as a new timeline, similar to Ultimate or any of the Exiles universes. I view the cartoons the same way. Otherwise, you get hung up on canon...

I will probably have loads more questions, and when I get some semblance of a story together I'll be sure to share it here. XD Actually, maybe I should go ahead and share my growing collection of art commissions I've been gathering at the last several conventions I've gone to... XD I'd love to see ...

Yes I have. It was pretty tremendous piece of film making but I can't go back and watch it again. It's too emotionally unnerving. It battered me, inside. Honestly. But if you got Ques up and you enjoyed that movie, I got some other great suggestions for you, if you'd like 'em. Sure! U2U 'em to me!

TRUE BLOOD

Spirits can't do anything without a host body. What power the body has, the spirit can control. When Marnie took Jesus' demon powers, it went into Lafayette's body so that Marnie could use it. Which means with Marnie out of his body, Lafayette's stuck with his medium powers and the demon powers. At...

About the tat...if you shave a tiger you'll find the skin underneath matches the stripes seen in the fur...something similar probably holds true for it...it's just visible through the fur. That's a good point... Plus, I've seen some pretty hairy guys with tattoos: http://turbowhitetrash.com/wp-cont...

No, but seriously -- I've always understood a book is a book (comic is a comic) and a movie is a movie, and they're two separate continuities. But the proceeding work should always do its best to RESPECT the original work, and some parts of Nightcrawler seemed too disrespectful. And X-3 as a whole ...

Oh God...The Pixie-Magik drama *shudders*. And as for Illyana, she's in Uncanny right now. It's pencilled by Greg Land and I keep thinking she's Dazzler or Emma (I'm not sure which character I should be feeling bad for). Although considering it IS Land, Illyana probably is Emma. And Pamela Anderson...

If You Could Change Kurt...

The biggest thing that I can fault about Kurt in X-2 is the scars. While I do like the idea and even use them in the fanfic I write, it is way too big a departure from the comic book version. There was virtually no explanation given for why he did all that. Someone who cuts himself up to such an ex...

Thanks for the heads up, I hope someone can give me a little info. Actually, this is sort of a long shot- (and I'm not sure if this will come to play in a story I write) but what is Illyana up to these days? Is she still in possession of the Soul Sword? (Geez, I don't even know what title she'd be ...

I wanna talk about cameo's on Doctor Who. For the most part, many of them were "before they were famous" types, but nonetheless, I really only caught up with the show this past spring, so for me it was "OMG!" when I saw them. One of THE best episodes....ever? Yeah, ever....was &q...

Yeah, they really wrapped it up quite quickly. I can't believe they killed off Jesus but it seemed very unlikely the season would end without a few casualties, Tommy being another of them. Though they did set it up that he could be around next season, what with Lafayette's powers. I really felt for ...

So, I've recently gotten Netflix, and I have been adding movies to my queue that I have always been meaning to see. I find myself with little time to really commit a full 2 hours to, but my Tuesday babysitting allows me quite a bit of freedom, so I'm gonna start chipping away at the queue. And I fig...
