I agree but only partially.
He's outstanding under a strong writer. I sometimes worry that most of the authors, majority white, don't know how to handle him. I think a street-level, indie-style book is needed.

Re: Aaron leaves Amazing X - Kyle & Yost to take over
I am hoping for a moment of reflection on Logan's part with a nice two-page spread of his life the moment of his death... and somewhere in a nice splash of imagery should be Kurt and him splitting a beer over Banshee's grave or something.

I'm fenced. I'm not really sure this is a good idea unless X-Force is going to actually happen.

Nope, not the text. Just the image. Unfortunate chance there. Poor artist.

mproved designs The Superman/Wonderwoman T-shirt Riff on Classical art, you can reproduce something like Klimt's* or Rodin's works both called "the kiss," with either Superman/Wonderwoman as the one being kissed (the role as kisser and kissed is interchangeable and you can have it either ...

FLASH on CW
So I watched the first episode of F L A S H premiering on on CW Network in October. (No details on how I obtained it, but I may have a friend who has a friend who knows someone in a network that makes DC live-action shows). So yeah - not bad. Arrow was atrocious. The first 6 episodes were really all...

Re: What do you want to see in Nicrawler's current book
I'm with HardCider. I get maybe making a non-white character for diversity's sake on a predominantly white (heavy WASP) book... but there's gotta be someone else out there. I found RICO to be a pain in the butt to read. It's like watching Wesley Crusher in scorpion form. Better yet, it's like Carl G...

Stomp Out Bullying! comes to Marvel via variants
Read this very interesting post on Brian Michael Bendis' Tumblr blog about how the Stomp Out Bullying campaign is coming to Marvel comics! This is, to me, a fantastic cause and a wonderful message and some very cool people have jumped on board with this project. You can also find out that there's o...

Re: Storm & Black panther (for Storm/Bp fans only)
I agree on everything you said, we don't know how the writers are thinking. I mean it's bad enough they ruined Storm (Honestly I hate the mohowk cuz it always changes her personality in my opinion) Couple things I'll point out here: The mohawk predates this current run. http://static.flickr.com/355...

(If wolverine's the dad, I'm going to comit suicide!!!) That's a helluva overeaction. Look, even if Logan was the dad (which I don't see how that can be as he is going to die this month and yeah, that won't stick around for long but if they'll smart they'll make Logan's death stick as long as Jean,...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I expect Claremont is waging an uphill battle to not only attempt his own comeback, but to also bring a character that was reduced to irrelevancy over a decade ago back to the forefront enough for other writers to pick him up and make him relevant again. I'll be supporting him through it and sincer...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I mean, as an old reader it doesn't annoy me to see Mercury or Rico in the book -- far from it. Yeah... I sorta hate Rico. He has yet to grow on me. Mercury is cool but she could definitely be holding her own book. Her character is far more intense and developed than what Claremont has depicted in ...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
That is certainly the case by your evidence, and I get that. But it still irked me. Rachel in the other two books she appears in would never have done that.
I guess this book is just for older-school fans. Another key reason why I've not really gotten into it.

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I suppose this just isn't the story I wanted. Space stuff and X-Men always turns into a snore for me. But I'm not trying to come off as harsh and will add that as happenstance as the whole scenario is, I'm glad he's getting out of that school. I thought I wanted him there, re-learning what it is to ...

Steyn, isn't the idea there for Prodigy almost the exact same as Skylanders? Which came out in like... 2011... They've been doing these types of games for a bit. I hear there's a Digimon RPG in the works.

Re: Storm & Black panther (for Storm/Bp fans only)
1) "Friends" ... we'll see if that turns into something or not. I have a sneaking suspicion one of the directions PAK is intending to take Storm in her solo book is away from that path. Have her sorta strike out as her own character, not his wife. 2) They're a divorced couple, I can't imag...

Re: What do you want to see in Nicrawler's current book
More of what I caught in Bendis' single issue of "Uncanny X-Men #25." That one issue alone, and those few panels he showed up in, felt more in tune with his character than the whole 6-ish issues Claremont has pumped out since his return. I would say Aaron was good, but let's share the Elf-...

Not saying there's something specifically here...
but I'm also not going to be surprised later if there is an intentional connection being established with these characters.

Titan Comics: Doctor Who by Ewing/Williams
Titan Comics has put together a team of solid Whovian creators who don't just fanjoy over the stories of the Doctor and his band of space/time companions but understand what makes the stories work as well. Al Ewing, (currently noted for his Mighty Avengers series at Marvel comics) and Rob Williams (...
