:LOL That's hilarious! My favorite is Goofy as Thor (mostly because I LOOOOOOVE Goofy!) And I personally think Wolvie should be on California Screamin'. But Big Thunder Mountain works, too. Oh, wait... now I'm envisioning a Wolverine-Indiana Jones crossover! Would THAT be an awesome ride or what? [...

...Just sad that they didn't inform or give a heads up and ask for feed back. As awesome as that would be, what major entertainment company has ever done this? What major company period has ever done that? Also, FYI, Disney owns, just to name a few major media holdings, ABC, ESPN, Touchstone, Dream...

Wolverine and the X-men is shown on nickelodeon and Disney XD shows Evo and X-Men: The Animated Series at various times. XTAS is typically shown in the wee hours of the morning. Not in Mexico. Evo was aired on Cartoon Network and Wolverine was aired on Jetix. XTAS has not been aired here in years, ...

Well, I was told a few minutes ago that disney owns touchstone pictures. which I had no idea they did... and they put out a lot of r rated stuff. so hopefully it'll be like that. Not only that, Disney actually created this brand specifically to handle the more mature films that couldn't appear unde...

yeah, I just posted that in my post in the ass thread. I'm going to cry. Oops, sorry, I tried to search if someone else had already posted it, but I'm no good with the search tool. Who knows? I might find The Suite Life of Kurt and Logan worth watching. Angelique, you kill me. Of laughter of course...

X-Men Origins: Nightcrawler :LOL I guess that's why I feel more attracted by the movieverse right now. Even if it's loosely based on the comicverse, it's a whole separate and unexplored world. You can manipulate the characters as you wish because canon there is not as solid as in the comicverse. Ki...

And don't forget my favourite weapon in his arsenal: his sense of humour. And now I'm definitely sure I like you too. ;) Pretty well. X-Force and Wolverine are hits, while light-hearted titles like First Class sell very little. She-Hulk was fun and light-hearted and it got cancelled. X-Factor is pr...

Did you just pull those words out of my mouth, Twitch? That's EXACTLY the way I feel about characters... Nightcrawler in particular. I swear, aside from the 12-issue solo and Excalibur, that is ME!!! Are you channeling me or something? It's one of my elvish magic tricks. ;) Lupin was my favorite ch...

I do like a healthy dose of angst and drama in comics, but not the whole comic to be about that. That said, I think one of the problems is that at some point the writers made Kurt too passive and peaceful... and that led to the terrible priesthood idea. Which is was not what Kurt was about. Yes, he ...

Funnily enough, not all copies of the movie showed that. I stayed through the credits of the movie and there was no scene at the end.

That's the thing, he tries to be good, but sometimes it's just in his nature to be bad. BUT he has friends to keep him on the straight and narrow. We got a deadpool movie thread somewhere on the board, and a character spotlight for him too if you wanna look it up. I'll go check that thread. Um, a c...

Focusing on faith is what made him so dark in the first place. Well, that kinda was the point, wasn't it? They only focused on one part of his personality, and they turned that part into his "dark side". I don't think that showing the religious side of a character makes them dull or crazy...

I tend to fall for characters with some kind of deep conflict and whose personality is both giving and needing. For some reason, characters with this description tend to be physically different too. Examples are the TMNT, Remus Lupin in Harry Potter (I'm talking of Lupin BEFORE book 7, where he tur...

Adding my two cents here, I totally agree with what has been said. Even though Kurt has conflicts and issues and problems --that's what makes him a complex character and a believable character-- his deep faith and his natural optimist attitude make him too bright to turn into a brooding hero. That's...

^ Technically, it started as a fairy tale. Point to you, though most plays/movies tend to be based on books or tales. I've always wondered about the musical version of Beauty and the Beast we almost did in high school. It was not Disney's version, yet it had to be an existing musical version cuz th...

Dragons and dufflepuds and flat world, Oh My! :P Personally I felt that the kids were more mature as actors in Caspian, and the movie, while still fantasy, had more epic elements than LWW, as well as a lot of internal conflict (like Caspian doubting himself, Peter learning to let go, etc.). The plot...

Prince Caspian (which is, creepily on right now behind me) made $419,651,413...it was hardly a flop. WALL-E was the only Disney film that made more that year. Disney did put a lot of money into both it and its merchandising, so it didn't make a huge profit for them, but it DID make a profit. It's '...

Oh yes! I did know Hugh Jackman was in Beauty and the Beast, he was Gaston! That man is one of those multitalented types and I love him for it! :love I have the Australian soundtrack...and I was given the Melbourne playbill...I saw it in Sydney well after he'd retired from the role. It would have b...
