Which guy do we hate the most
That was really a hard decision... Cyclops or Wolverine... stiff, boring guy with pretty lame powers and a bitchy girlfriend versus totally overexposed brute with hair growing out of his nostrils and an unbelievably ridiculous costume and haircut... okay, I hate the last one more.

Kurt Needs A Family
Hmmm... I can't imagine Kurt as a husband, spoils the whole character... anyway, it's still fun to make up possible relationships and children. Nocturne is okay, but she looks just to much like NC. Basically she's a female NC without a tail. *yaaawn* Couldn't they at least have given here five finge...

Kurt Wagner lives in my town!
In my city there live even five "Kurt Wagners"... sorry, Wagner is a very common name in Germany (there are over 300 listed in the telephone book of my city which has a population of ca. 320.000) and Kurt is, too (though I wouldn't consider it very fashionable nowadays) so I don't think it...

@Amytal Yupp, that's Rosiel, the main villian (note: he's a guy) from Angel Sanctuary by Kaôri Yûki, a very popular Manga series of the 90ies, comes in 20 volumes. Angels! Demons! Incest! Death! Hate! Confusion! Rebirths! Incarnations! Gender diffusion! More confusion! Earth! Heaven! Hell! Hades! Lo...

Is that an illustration from Angel Sanctuary in your signature? (Or at least it looks a lot like Kaori Yuki.)

Depp as Joker? Naa, that just doesn't fit at all.
I guess Carrey would have been a good Joker but since he already played the Riddler... Considering Jack Nicholson's awesome performance it's going to be quite a task for any actor to portray the Joker, to step into Nicholson's shoes.

Yeah, and it's all permanent... just like Colossus death...
Just wait a few years and he'll be back to superpowerful and superdangerous somehow.

I think it would have been fun if they had actually cast a German actor. Like Til Schweiger: http://german.imdb.com/name/nm0001709/ Being not very tall and pretty muscular he might have made a suitable NC. Unfortunately his voice is kind of squeaky. I don't like him that much but he's one of the bes...

I'm really sorry, I don't know where you got that from but I still believe you are wrong or you found an oldfashioned version that only a few people are aware of. On this website you find several versions of the Hail Mary and none of them features "Liebes" instead of "Leibes". &q...

Not correct.
Leib = quite old fashioned word for body
Leibes = Genitive of Leib
Frucht deines Leibes= fruit of your body/ fruit of thy womb

I'd like to see a proper NC/Gambit fight. The winner probably depends on the environment. As long as Remy has got something to grab and charge up (does he ever run out of cards?) I'd bet on a draw.

I've finally managed to lay my hands on the X-Men movie DVDs and I must say Cumming's accent is remarkably conviencing. It's nice that they even gave him a bavarian accent (though that might actually be by chance). When he speaks German you can instantly hear he's not a native speaker but otherwise ...

As you can all plainly see now (cause I finally figured out how :toothy) I'm from Germany. Mannheim is in south west Germany near Heidelberg (where I study). You might know this town, it's a "must see" for every Asian and American tourist on a Germany or Europe tour (Neuschwanstein =the Di...

This somehow makes me want to rip all my Marvel comic books apart, set them on fire and burn to ashes along with them. Wolverine, Wolverine... *puke* I think it's interesting that they hired an Indian animation studio. The only cartoon I saw so far that I was aware of that it was Indian was a slight...

Oh my gosh this is sooooo cute, the cutest thing I've seen in ages.
But I'm not sure if these big, prominent light reflections are really necessary, they look a bit artifical to me.

Yes, I noticed that too. Kinda strange though. Or is the same as in the comics?
The statue would sure look great but 85 $ is just too much for me.

Quite an interesting article. Reminds me of all those annoying Shonen Ai ("Boys Love") Manga/Anime Fans, squeaky girls who honestly write "Oh, I hope in this volume Harry and Draco finally come together!" and "Vegeta and Trunks make such a cute couple." (note: father an...

I also agree that Logan/Ororo would be one of the strangest pairings ever- but I have a dim feeling sooner or later somebody is going to bring or rather force them together. Opposites attract? Whatever... Since Wolverine is on almost every single team out there how can he ever find the time for a re...

When I was 16 I thought about having the initals of my favourite star tatooed on my shoulder. Thank god that's over! Now I have already enough scars to remind me of my past, they are permanent as well.

The Winding Way (Nightcrawler #7-11) SPOILERS on last 2 pages!
Is it just me or does anyone prefer the inker of issue 1-6 over the new one? No offence, but the overall visual quality of the series has declined and now lacks in smoothness and accuracy of the lines. It still looks very good, but not as great as before.

How YOU say "Nightcrawler"
I have sth to add to the German translation. It took me quite long, but the animal nightcrawler (common earthworm) is a Tauwurm ("dew- worm") in German. (The normal word for earthworm is Regenwurm ("rain- worm"). Actually, it was slightly disappointed when I found out. What a dum...
