Avengers general discussion
First of all it would absolutly ruin this arc for me if Captain Brittan shows up. I don't mind cross overs, but that would be a bit much for me. The Avengers are in England to handle the Wrecking Crew, not to set up a cameo for Cap Brit (I hope). Besides that little boy is all obssed with Captain Am...

This is all true about Communists trying and ultimately failing to eliminate religion, but it wasn't exactly my point. The point was even though they didn't even have religion to fight over, they faught over their own ideals. The Bulsheviks, Mensheviks, and SRs were all communist. None of them had r...

Clint's one of my favortie charicters. He's so much fun. That's why I said that is Kurt does make a cameo, it would be great to pair him up with him. They'd meet and hallarity would follow. I like that the Captain wasn't all uptight either. I hate when they do that to him. As for jan, I haven't seen...

Having one religion sounds great in theory. There wouldn't be any trouble between religous groups, but you would still have problems. You'd have the more, conservative types who only want their life to revolve around religion, fighting people who only use religion as only part of their life. I'm sur...

I though so too shecat. But i swear if you look at the art in this past issue it really gives you the impression of 2 others. I might just be crazy.

Was anyone but me supprized at how many Guthrie siblings there were in this past issue? This was my count:
Paige and Sam obviously Then there was Jeb, the other little boy on the bunk-bed, the brother in the band, and the sister standing next to the mom. That's six.
Is that righ...

What exactly makes you keep buying a comic?
Though art is really important, I won't keep reading a book if the story is weak. Even if there's not a stand out charicter for me, or exceptionally good art, a really good plot will keep me into it. I really don't think anything can replace good writing.

What exactly draws you to a new comic?
I pretty much ignore word of mouth and reviews. It seems like half the time I dissagree. I usually walk around the comic store for a good long time looking at the art. Then I flip through quickly and see if it looks like it has a good story. That's also based on art since I don't take the time to re...

He'd fit in better on Sesame Street. Little kids could learn German from him instead of Spanish. He could teach the grouch how to be understanding. Maybe take over in the super hero department. I mean, who cares about Super Grover. Not me.

Let's pretend Kurt is dead for a sec here....
If kurt dies saving a child, I'd want it to be his own. Maybe a young son who can grow up to be sort of a vigilanty or avenger. Possibly he'd be motivated by the memory of his father's intergrity and sacrifices. And I mean avenger as in "one who avenges" not as in the team/comic. I guess t...

I'm not worried about Husk, I can go either way with her. Cannonball though, I love. I would be incredably dissapointed if he falls through the cracks. I guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed.

Even if you don't want any more, I love Comics and WANT to answer. Give me a moment to think how to put my enthusiasm into words. HMMMMMMM..... Well, I'm 19 and have been reading comics since early middle school. I was attracted to them at first for two reasons. I was a very alienated child and was ...

Unfortunately, it seems that children raised to hate always will. I've only met a handfull of people with racist parents who weren't themselves. This is how intolerance has lasted so long, in our relatively well educated socioty. No matter what good examples there is, say Mr. Rogers following the pr...

A few years ago, there was a boy in a town near me who was a homosexual and committed suicide. In his note it explained how hard it was for him because he was always afraid of the people around him and what they thaught about him, including his family. His mother put together a remeberative document...

first of all, High Fives for Time Squad refrences!!!! No one I know watches it but me. Second, I think there's a story you should read by David Sedaris called "Parade", Lauren. It's sort of along these lines. It's about him dating Charlton Heston and Mike Tyson. It's really funny. Actually...

I really like Davis but Clayton Henry gives him such soft features. I love it. Kurt's usually drawn with a really really cut jawline, which I don't find particularly atractive. Henry still drew him cut in the face but it's not nearly as extreem. I also like that he made him more ethnicly German with...

Yes, yes I do belive they mentioned it in the Warren issue. I knew that it had been addressed. Was that the last one before the Draco arc started? Even if it wasn't it was a recent issue, frome maybe over the summer.
