Nightcrawler #5 & 6 Ghosts on the Tracks
Good issue, with great artwork. One thing, though. I commute from Westchester to Manhattan every single day. So I can safely tell you that you do not need to go to 125th Street to get the Metro North Railroad back to Westchester. You can catch it at Grand Central on 42nd Street, which is much more c...

I heard back from Doug Resnick, regarding when he obtained these sketches... "i got it from the cockrums themselves. i got it in the mid 90's around the time of valiant birth-quake jumpstart. they were both sitting at a table at a show." Doug is an absolute genius when it comes to obtainin...

I just recieved a cool piece of artwork by Paty and Dave Cockrum. It has sketches of Magneto by the two of the, a full figure by Paty, and a head shot by Dave. I have no idea where and when this was originally done. I got it from a fellow named Doug Resnick, who collects a lot of convention sketches...

I liked the first four issue story arc. I probably would have liked it better if it had read more like an actual solo story featuring Kurt, as oppsed to an X-Men team adventure that happened to give him a prominent role. Which is how it read to me. But I had no serious problems with the plot, and I ...

I was curious if anyone here has ever come across a book/pamphlet entitled "The Unseen Art of Dave Cockrum." I happened upon it about a month or so ago at St. Marks Comics in Manhattan. It was quite a surprise, since I don't recall having heard of it before. It turns out it was published i...

Who should be Nightcrawler's girlfriend?
There have been a number of women who have dated Kurt over the years, or who have been presented as potential romatic interests. If Nightcrawler did once again have a regular girlfriend, who would you want it to be? I would choose Cerise, the Shi'Ar renegade introduced by Alan Davis in Excalibur. Sh...
