The Elfquest Thread
Ahem, I would have to say Winnowill is my favorite. ;) I also liked Strongbow and Clearbrook. I started reading Elfquest because of Xmen- Kitty Pryde was wearing an Elfquest t-shirt, I think. Plus there was a bamf talking to a fairy named Pini. I also liked the series called the Distant Soil. I don'...

Question for all of the artists
After looking at the different kinds, and talking to someone I know, the Graphire3 seems the best for what I need, plus it just sneaks in for what I budgeted. I do want to thank everyone for their help. I hate buying hardware and finding out later it's not really what I wanted.

Question for all of the artists
Thanks to everyone for the replies- I did mean the pad with the stylus- sorry I wasn't more specific. I just saw one and HAD to have one- I didn't even know they had existed before this week. I'll check out the sites, and would still appreciate comparisions. Thanks!

Let's pretend Kurt is dead for a sec here....
I can see a few ways. I can see him saving a child's life, only to have someone come upon him and kill him because they mistake his motives because of his appearance. Or someone killing him accidently by trying to prove themselves- like what happened to Harry Houdini. Or a quick meaningless death by...

Which artist over exagurates the body of women the most at m
interprets the female body to be the most sexy it can be, .... That depends, does a female body have to be portrayed as having a 40 DD chest to be at it's "most sexy"?? It doesn't surprise me that more than half of my daughter's female classmates want to have breast implants- and they are ...

I've heard it's Alfred Molina, but I'm not positive. He's been in Raiders of the Lost Ark, Not Without my Daughter, Species, and a lot of other movies.

Agree with the comments about the head.
As to the background, I'm picturing him on a tombstone with a little trick or treater flashing a pumpkin flashlight up at him. ( Don't mind me, I had a halloween candy flash.)

Not sure if anyone can reply, but here goes. 1) Mainly the shape of the right leg below the knee- since the muscles of one side are being stretched, they shouldn't be so evenly shaped- here's a ballet pic that kind of shows what I mean. http://maya.wplus.net/korsunts.JPG 2) Back of head looks like i...

Who was the first comic hero you ever pretended to be when little?
I saw Darkbamf answer a post saying he remembered running around in a cape pretending to be Captain Marvel. That made me remember bending all of my moms' metal knitting needles as a little kid. I was pretending I was Superman and they were bars of steel. Will anyone else share?

I do offer her my support, thanks for leaving the thread open for us. I do feel uncomfortable with the mental nervous diagnosis put out for all to see, but she may have posted it herself in the past, I don't know. I know someone with this disorder, they do need a lot of support. I had always had the...

X2 on DVD November 25!
Those articles were interesting. I've had three separate dvd's with the problems described that I rented from the store. I had just thought that they had scratches or a slight warp that I couldn't see. Hopefully the X2 dvd won't be affected. I've waited too long for it already.
