The strain?

The strain?
Has the strain Kurt experiences when using his powers to a high degree ever been completely defined? I understand that it's potentially lethal, but that it's also something the body can get used to, right? Is it simply a matter of his body using up a lot of energy so he's spent? Does his blood press...

I would like to add that I've come to associate AoA Kurt with the Matrix soundtrack and Ultimate Kurt with the soundtrack for Run Lola Run.

Dave is gone
Oh my god. I don't know what to say. Dear, sweet Dave, taking the time to chat with his fans on a message board up until the end. He really gave us so much more than we had the right to ask for. It's so hard to believe that Nightcrawler's dad is gone. Rest in peace, Dave. We love you. You have reall...

Soundtrack for Nightcrawler
Goo Goo Doll's "Iris" fits him perfectly. Beautiful, dramatic and elegant and the lyrics almost seem tailored for him. When I read the scene with him and Storm air-dancing, that was the song I had in my head. It even has the rhythm of a waltz.

New comics
Actually, come to think of it, Nightcrawler fans are luckier than most. Most characters have been shafted pretty badly throughout the years, one way or another. Think of Gambit, who seems universally hated by fans and writers alike. Everyone is getting sick of Wolverine at this point and what with t...

It would be interesting seeing a Kurt series or miniseries written by someone like Warren Ellis (who did a good job with Kurt in Excalibur) or Mark Millar (who apparently likes the character a lot).

Stefan's death.
The thing is, though, the fact that he actually killed someone he loved with his bare hands is something that I see as having a HUGE part in how he turned out as a person. It's probably also one of the keys to what makes his friendship with Wolverine work so well: Kurt knows first-hand the price of ...

Stefan's death.
One thing that's always seemed strange to me is that, although Kurt promised Stefan that he would kill him if he ever turned evil, when the moment came, the killing was still depicted as accidental. Why not just have him snap the guy's neck on purpose? Kurt even said in Uncanny X-men annual 4 that i...

That does sound a lot like Kurt. At least when Alan Davis is involved.
