The stripy things don't even cover his whole tail. It's like Psylocke's straps. Make no sense, serves no purpose, and, in this case, just looks dumb.
I am anti-newsboy cap ps. The jacket I don't mind, the cap is just awful. He looks homeless.

Literally Unbelievable
Lil, you are evil incarnate. But then, we always knew that :P. The best was when the Onion ran the article about the "$8 billion Abortionplex" that had anti-choicers going nuts. It was funny, but mostly it was frustrating to see them take it seriously and act like abortions were so widely ...

I've been a fan of the Onion for years, and it turns out there is something even MORE entertaining than the Onion itself: Facebook posts of dumb people who think the Onion is real. Enter http://literallyunbelievable.org/ This is one of my favorite online stops. It's incredible how up in arms people ...

Another reason I think it's wise to start at the beginning if at all possible is that there are *so many* great characters in this series, and the plot spends all its time advancing the characters, rather than re-establishing who they are. Could not agree more. I don't think there is a single chara...

Crap, Garble, that was an amazing response. And I never even THOUGHT to include the Tardis, but The Doctor's Wife was one of the best episodes from this season. It's completely true, companions will come and go, but it'll always be him and the Tardis. I did love in that episode when it was explained...

I don't put any stock into the Mayan calendar 2012 thing. Considering they were conquered, is it possible that perhaps THAT is why they didn't continue the calendar? It seemed to be an ongoing project. Everything else....wouldn't it be lovely is we could convince everyone that global warming isn't a...

I was conflicted as to whether to put this in Not-Crawler or here, but here it is. The lovely littlebamf made this for me a few months ago, and it is still sitting high on my shelf looking down on me. She resides with a few TJ heroclix, a Catwoman statue and an authentic VooDoo doll. And I love her ...

I've always had a sweet spot for Rose. She was a great companion. She wasn't my favorite, but she was my first, so she has a special place in my heart :). And her story was great, over two seasons and two Doctors, and she was the bridge from Eccelston to Tennent. Plus, I enjoyed her supporting cast...

Kurt's AU kiddies.....
As much as I hate to admit it, this thread does need to include two other characters: TJ (boy) and Cerise Wagner from The End. I have a problem with these two, namely the names. What woman in her right mind agrees to name her children after a kid from another relationship (Yeah AU but still) and an ...

Whoa whoa whoa whoa. Let's not get down on Rose Tyler. And here's the thing: I think everyone really relates to their first companion. Rose was the first for everyone who jumped on for the relaunch in 2005. So I can see loving her for that alone. Other than that, she was set up as a very important c...

I've never read the original Xfactor. I enjoyed Peter David's Xfactor for a while, but I dropped off after some CBR drama made it into the book. And I totally agree about Excalibur. Excalibur is so frikken good, it makes me forget how much I don't enjoy Claremont. To be fair, the man doesn't enjoy m...

Sorry for the double post, but a simple edit of the above will be seen by no one ;). Anyway, I wanted to comment on the weird ghost this season. I was so convinced it was all voodoo, but I liked how it turned around. Although, the Fais Do Do song totally brought back sweet memories. We used to sing ...

...thought I'd be a runner. I've hated running my whole life. If I were being chased by a maniac I'd find a way to speed walk instead of run. Running sucks. Then I found a calling.
