Re: Young Movie Nightcrawler
Consider this: Nightcrawler raised in the circus, fun costume, swashbuckler, the whole nine yards. Then, something terrible happens and he finds refuge in the Catholic church. Marks his body, becomes melancholy, etc. I say, stick to classic Nightcrawler for X-Men Apocolypse. And as far as Gleeson is...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
As one said Bamf lover, I will say that the purpose of the bamfs are sometimes forced and only minimally helpful. However, It's like having a sidekick, like Lockheed or EVA. They are not supposed to take the focus away from the main hero, but rather accentuate them. I believe the bamfs do that in a ...

I just started watching Game of Thrones, so I totally see this! It takes an awesome actor to really get people to hate you, so yeah. Do this. I'm tweeting Bryan Singer now.

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
It went in a different direction than I was expecting, but I really enjoyed it. I love the way Claremont reintroduced him to the school and made him feel like an outsider again while still referencing his history with Excalibur and the X-Men. I loved the Paul Smith artwork redone with a modern twist...

Re: Kurt and Bamfs (slight spoilers)
Just do this: SPOILER ALERT!! The Bamf origins are weird, but plausible in Comic Lore. Kurt did not have a physical body to return to, so it makes sense to use the bamfs as a physical means of becoming whole again. As far as Kurt's powerset is concerned, don't bamfs have roughly the same physical ca...

Maybe if we ignore age continuity, he would work. I've never even heard of this guy though... How is his German accent?

Re: Young Movie Nightcrawler
There's no casting yet. My reasoning is that Nightcrawler was roughly 35 when X2 occurred in 2003. If X-Men Apocalypse takes place in 1985, Nightcrawler would be 18. How old will Jaden be in 2016? Answer: 18. Perfect. Also, we know he can act, fight, and do acrobatic stunts from his work on Karate K...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
Haha! I was wondering what animal Nightcrawler would be drawn as, considering he is so animalistic already. Being depicted as a nightcrawler is just too funny!

Re: Kurt & Cyclops (the last forgiveness)
Kurt has always been the moral center for the X-Men, even if he wasn't consciously doing it. I believe the first confrontation of Scott and Kurt is going to be memorable. If it isn't, I will be disappointed. The Wolverine/Nightcrawler first encounter was awesome, and so was the Storm/Nightcrawler re...

Re: Making a custom costume
It's possible, but It will be a while... If I do decide to do it, there are some significant changes that need made. It sure won't be SDCC again. That was crazy! I loved it, but it was crazy... I would need to be 100% confident in my contacts and tail, and make sure I am not going to any panels that...

Re: Claremont to return to Nightcrawler!
I contacted Todd Nauck via Twitter, and he stated the comic comes out on April 9th. He also called it "Nightcrawler 1", so I asked him to clarify the name (since in the previews book it is titled X-Men Legacy 1). He said it's one of those two and that we'd know for sure on April 9th. What ...

Re: HEEEEEEE'S BACK!!!
Damn, that's a good quote... I loved God Loves, Man Kills and having Claremont at the helm once more is not only promising but redeeming on Marvel's part. I have felt cheated, scrounging for Nightcrawler here and there and never feeling satisfied. It's good to have him back. So good to see a revival...

I saw that! Gerry Duggan stated in a recent interview that there will be people there that are not shown in the teaser and people in the teaser that will not be there, so I take this with a grain of salt. However, it still kicks ass and I look forward to picking it up.
