New Musicians -- WHO DO YOU LIKE?

I don't really pay enough attention to music to know who's super new and super obscure and the like, but I've been on a Metric kick of late. For the past few years, whenever I'd hear a song on my iPod that I wasn't sure who the band was but I loved, it was always Metric (I tend to add in bulk). I ha...

30 minutes or Less: more like 30 Seconds - AKA how much of t

Ehh, I dunno. I really am not a heist person (I didn't like Inception either, for example). But, I will possibly Netflix it when it gets there...

I need a quick overview

Hey lone bamf! I know there's been some grief for Logan, and that's been mentioned here and there. He and Scott haven't resolved their issues AFAIK. And I know he's been mentioned here and there by other characters, like Ororo (she talked about him with X-23 early in her series). But someone who's r...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image

I thought it was just a joke meant to highlight the (somewhat inappropriate) closeness of AoA Mystique to her son. A way of saying, hey everybody this is a different universe where she DID NOT throw him off a cliff as a newborn. I never took their closeness as inappropriate but....oh lord, should I...

Kurt's AU kiddies.....

I'm just sitting here giggling at his understated reaction to "Alex has gone nuts and is trying to kill everyone". Hehe. The best is it's followed by the next panel of him looking pensively out the window "Is that what's going on out there?" And then they throw Nocturne out the ...

PS, this deserves a repost:

They're called condoms Kurt.

Also, his tail looks rather....erect doesn't it? He wasn't above sleeping with his sister...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image

Maybe the radiation just made all his fur fall out. I think that was even mentioned in the book. I dunno, I remember Mystique making some comment about finding a father for him that would guarantee he had fur, which I find a very very odd thing to base a sexual encounter off of. Like I don't go out...

If You Could Change Kurt...

I still think X2 Nightcrawler was gross. The problem with the accent is that it is entirely unnatural to have perfect American style grammar yet still have a ridiculous exaggerated accent. He sounded like an American pretending to be German as a joke. (VE HAF VAYS OFF MAKING YOU TOCK.) He uses unco...

Maybe the tattoo mystery will finally be solved! Wolverine had one too, which is something he would normally heal. I still like my old idea about how bringing Kurt back from the dead would trigger a massive crisis of faith after which he would be a normal person again. Whether because of his half-d...

AoA Nightcrawler (Darkholme) in Uncanny X-Force Teaser Image

Kind of a side thing, but what is with the tattoo on his eye? Did they ever explain what that was about? I don't recall reading it in the book, but it's been a while since I read any AoA (And to be fair, I only read X-Calibre and Gambit and the Externals). Also, I'm glad he got a hair cut. No flowy ...

I think you're right that we're talking about two different things. New Yorkers (and DC and Pennsylvania) had to deal with the physical attack... the debris, the fire, the injured and dying people. Ground zero. I may also never be able to understand the physical devestation after 9/11 that's contin...

I did love catching up on this in here, and I have no idea why I never posted on it wayyy back in the day. But here goes: What would I change about X2 Nightcrawler? I'm with Spaz. Everything . Putting aside my personal dislike of Alan Cumming (I really, truly despise the man), this portrayal of Kurt...

30 minutes or Less: more like 30 Seconds - AKA how much of t

This movie was not at all what you expected from the trailers and ads. It was not a pure comedy with a few heist elements sprinkled in. That said, I really liked it. If you went in expecting to see the movie they were advertising, you were no doubt sorely disappointed. However, if you realized earl...

Ahh. Well, hate is a good enough reason to not go. ;) I can't really think of any teams I hate other than the Flyers and Capitals, and I happen to like the Flyers more than the Capitals. :shifty I don't really have many teams I hate. I hate the Rangers and that's really it. And the main reason I ha...

Are Rangers tickets not cheap, Nacht?
Rangers tickets you have to include the train ticket to MSG, which automatically boosts the price by $20. Plus I HATE the Rangers -_-

That's what I truly love about hockey. The game is face paced and someone is going to get punched. It's a ton of fun.

Hopefully, Slarti, you guys don't get the Islanders. I need my cheap tickets! :shifty

Someone made mention of John Stewart in here, and honestly I don't feel like reading up, but here is the clip: http://youtu.be/Bb3gInJAY6g This was the only 9/11 related thing I watched today, and I'm so glad I did. It's beautiful, and I remember watching it way back when it first aired. It's as poi...

Of course you don't like Philly, you Penguin! :P I love Philly for the fights. They really are a bunch of hooligans, and their fans aren't much better. Case in point: Domi beats up a Flyers fan I enjoy the Canadian teams too, tbh, but I find myself closest to the Sabres. Going to the minor league te...

I find it very interesting how some have stated that they liked Excalibur Kurt but they haven't been able to accept Kurt since the whole priest thing. Interesting how you have completely forgotten that Claremont (who wrote most most of the early Excalibur issues) returned Kurt to his more fun lovin...

Moving on... I've been passing this everyday on my way into and out of my neighborhood, and I figured I might as well share it. This is a high school in my neighborhood that planted a flag for each person who died who was from the area. The picture doesn't do justice to how many flags there are, but...

So I went to buy it the other day, I scoured Tims Square, probably the worst place on Earth to shop but it's where I was, and found it at Midtown Comics. Hooray! However, the DVD version did not include deleted scenes. Boo. And it was $30! What?! So, long story short, I did not buy it. I'll wait for...

I really don't care to discuss it with you further. Clearly we will have to agree to disagree.

Crawler, thank you. It's good to know some people in the rest of the country DO get it.
