Jill, any Chuck Austen news ?? (no, I don't quit !)

Humanoides has done some great things. Chuck writes in a more European style anyway and I hope that works out. I love thier hard back titles and the art is always top notch. I'm just starting a new job so hopefully I'll have something to spend my oh so much extra cash on from Humanoides and Chuck. A...

Paty's Vision of Lovliness

Heehee! that was a good one Paty! Me, I always just assumed that part of the perks that went with being a female super was that you were immune to swollen feet, and twisted ankles from running around all the time in spike heels as well as immune to the backaches that go with mammoth boobies ;)

Dave!!! this is too cool. I can't wait to see what you've been drawing.
I can't very well tell you to "break a leg", since you're an artist and not an actor, so I guess it'll be "Bust a nib" :p

Will Eisner passes away

Will Eisner was a talented and charming man. He was dedicated to the sequential craft and his influences were inspirational to many comic creators and readers alike. He will be sorely missed. My sincere condolences to all of his family. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Eisner at the awards several ...

I just don't see why they are (or seem) so dueced bent on reverting him to a mustachio twirling EEEEEVIIIILLLL cliche?????? I mean, hasn't that been done to death? maybe it flew like an eagle "back in the day" but is that REALLY what America wants? It's just so flat footed and *yawn* predi...

Uncanny X-Men General Discussion Reload

While I don't want to set forth untruths, and I don't know at all how busy Chris is at this time, I would guess that you're right Paty. This isn't his usual style and I KNOW that he is capable of great things. This short vignette style isn't at all satisfying. I don't get a chance to chat on the boa...

Uncanny X-Men General Discussion Reload

These mini"arc-ettes" are not too cool with me either. I like really complex long running plots and involved stories. I hope that whoever is behind these mini tales doesn't plan on continuing with them in the future. I generally like Claremonts writing, but this has been out of character a...

You guys have probably answered this one til you are BOTH blue in the face ( good colour huh?) But when you first cooked up ol' Nighty...was he a one of a kind minion of Hell? or were there others like him? I am a closet gaming geek and I'm just curious... I just have to know...what WAS the "or...

Christopher Reeve, dead at age 52

This was sad news . Reeves was a great person and a dedicated proponent of research to find cures for his as well as many others maladies. I remember his Supes movies and I had a crush on him too, and I don't even LIKE Superman.

He will be missed :(

Lustful designs aside, Magneto has always been a powder keg of character possibilities. The skill with which Chris (Claremont) has developed him has left me at times in an anxiety of mixed emotions, both angry at Magneto for something that he's done and sympathizing with him as a person. Each layer ...
