I think I've got an idea for this. I'll have to discuss it with my more Wolverine-centric buddy.

Nightcrawler's birthday
I saw the calendar too- and he mentions its a thursday (you can read the dates)- unfortunately, the 11th doesn't fall on a thursday based on that calendar. This is probably just an artist's error (and a minor one at that) more than anything else. It's so strange though- the way comics refuse to aget...

So I actually flipped through this volume at the store the other day.... Uh... it was strange. Anyone else have thoughts on this? The art style kinda weirded me out.

Update on Wolverine and the X-men
Yeah- there are episode summaries up on wiki. I've been telling my X-men fan friends that basically... Nightcrawler takes his sweet time showing up, but when he does HE IS HARDCORE. :) SPOILERS *** Me: So basically, he shows up, is a pirate, and then gets tossed around by Mojo who wants him to perfo...

Well... I hammered out a plot... it might be a little cliche, but I wanted something simple I could deal with in a few pages, without it becoming some epic I'll never finish. Now I have a summer project.

I'll probably color mine, if only as an excercise in tablet practice.
To be honest, I'm liking the partnership so much, I'm thinking about drawing a mini-comic or something.

::laughs:: Noooooo what are they fighting??? I think they'd be great working together!
Old guy: Noooo you shall not desecrate this holy land!
HB: Bub, if we wanted to do some desecratin', we'd be having a kegger RIGHT NOW.
NC: Did you just say 'Bub'?

Okay, so I'm a shaaaaaaaaaameless fangirl, but then, who here isn't on the top tier of nerd fandom? Anyways- I've always thought that Nightcrawler and Hellboy would make an awesome team-up, (yes, I've read the fic posted on these forums ^_^) and started doing some doodles to that effect. I might col...

Yeah, I'll admit the transition was a quick one, to say the least. But at least kingly leader beats "In a coma because we don't know what to do with you".

I didn't think Mignola was drawing a lot of the actual HB comics these days- but I think I just may have misread the Dark Horse forums. For those of you who are "story people" or like "team books" better- I would recommend the novelizations. I read "On Earth as it is in Hell...

I'm sure I'm just inventing a personality for her, but I think we can safely say that she cares about the wellbeing of the Morlocks, without being a psychotic killer-face like 616 Callisto. She was smart enough to realize the violent path that Sunder was leading them down wasn't a good one, and reco...

I know what the word 'subvert' means. No need to get snitty. My point was only that while I can agree that the whole brainwashing-religion-blah-blah-blah-heard-it-before story isn't so great, I could still understand why Kurt would open the book/view the glowy orb or whatever in the first place. I'm...

Huh- well I thought I'd update my findings... I've since purchased two Hellboy novelizations, and one anthology of short stories (so far, the most satisfying fiction based on comics I've read) as well as the other animated film 'Blood and Iron'- which I enjoyed more than 'Sword of Storms'. I want to...

Well... the difference is... your comic book guy is just one person which multiple-opinion-disorder... whereas in this thread we have multiple people each expressing their own individual opinions. No need for us all to agree.

Clearly, I'll just have to write a fanfic in which Kurt learns valuable information that gives earth the upper hand and THE DAY IS SAVED thanks to the power puff gir-
Yeah. I'm not keen on the religion-based brainwashing. Haven't we seen that show already?

Originally posted by InterNutter I'd consider it as an insight into how their minds work, at the very least. You can tell a lot about people by the stories they tell. Yes, something more like this. I'd definitely check it out, I think it'd be fascinating reading. How is that nuts? I mean, even if w...

Yeahhhhh... but the whole 'Phantom of the X-men' thing was getting old. (Plus, him drooling after Dazzler was getting on my nerves. I think she's icky in UXM.)

um... huh? (clearly what now?) I mean... I am pretty darn religious (says the girl who just spent a week making small children sing and dance at Vacation Bible School...) but that doesn't mean I'm not interested in what other religions have to say. I think the hallmark of a strong believer is the wi...

Ahhhh, well yes, of course. I see EVERY OTHER character doing something more like "WTF is this? Pssh... I don't even care for earth religions, you think I'm gonna look at this garbage?" ::toss::
