En Sabah Nur

Post by puppygirl » Sat Nov 26, 2011 9:29 pm

A generous, handsome man in his early fifties, En Sabah first came to the US from Egypt as a young man to study at Harvard before working as the head of operations at the US branch of his families business, Akkaba Oil. With the sudden death of his father of a stroke En Sabah inherited the entire company and has been running it with fantastic success since.

In recent years he's started to invest in renewable energy resources and has become a bit of a philanthropist, funding several charities devoted to helping homeless youth and animal shelters, making a very large donation to the rebuilding of New York after the Venom Crisis and is currently seeking to open up a new branch of specialized health care units world wide to cope and care for mutants.

Publicly he has always stated that he finds mutants and the emergence of the X-Gene fascinating, and has been an active lobbyist for Mutant Rights at both US congress, the EU and NATO. His own personal research into mutant/human relations and campaigning has lead to his recent award of the Noble Peace Prize, something he states as having been his 'Greatest Achievement'.

Privately, he has also been one of the backers of Moira MacTaggert's mutant hospital on Muir Island, sinking a lot of his personal funds into the establishment.

Happy to mostly leave the running of his oil company in the hand of his Board of Directors, he spends most of his time on his own private island devoting his time to his charitable causes.
