4/26 Instance: Harry Gold, Agent of the Stars

Adriana: "So, and there were traps everywhere? Really?" Adriana eagerly sucked out maybe a third of the Sprite in her cup with straw and an instantly wrinkled nose and squeezed eyes indicated brain freeze.

Anna: Anna nodded, putting down her burger, suddenly not feeling very hungry, "It was horrible....." she decided to try her fries.

Cessily: Cessily sucked on the straw of her vanilla milkshake. More or less the only thing she liked at fast food places. She kept looking at Anna intently. "Oh my, I can't believe that anyone would do something like this." She said, shaking her head. "I'm happy all of you are okay now."

Adriana: "Do you know who did this?" The curiousity clearly outranked the pain, so he was already fixating her big, questioning eyes on Anna.

Anna: Anna shook head head, "No idea... scared the shite out of me though.... And I still don't know how the hell that branch stopped. I was so lucky it did though." She gave up on her fries too and picked up her chocolate milkshake. Chocolate fixes all.

Cessily: Cessily glanced down at the table. "Wow, that's so crazy." She looked back up at Anna. "I'm glad you didn't get hurt." Sucking on her milkshake again, her eyes moved back and forth between her roomie and Anna. "Maybe hunters put the traps there. Like, really backwater hunters."

HarryGold: Harry entered the McDonald's to get that stupid happy meal for his daughter while constantly shouting into his cellphone. "Okay, Lenny...Lenny...LennyLennyLenny, listen to me! She can't have broken her leg! She is in a McDonald's ad, do you understand this? They will have my ass in their meat grinder if my client blows them off! And you sure can bet they won't make me koscher!"

Adriana: "Like...hillbillies?" She never had seen hillbillies before. Maybe they were still around?

Anna: Anna shrugged, "Those kind of traps are probably illegal whatever you want to catch in them. They're really inhumane." She shivered remembering the sight of Selene full of holes. "God... can we stop talking about it now? And enjoy the rest of the afternoon.....?"

Cessily: "And really dangerous, to boot." Cessily added, again shaking her head. "At least hunters see what they're shooting at when they use guns. That is, as long as they're not drunk." She reached across the table to squeeze Anna's hand gently. "Sure we can, sweetie. Maybe we should get some ice cream later?"

Anna: Anna smiled at the idea of icecream, "Sounds good!" she looked at Cess's hand on her gloved one and sighed wondering what would happen if she tried to heal someone made of metal.

Adriana: She nodded in agreement. "But first I want to finish my burger, okay?" She took a big bite out of it. "Mmmmm, I'm lovin' it!"

HarryGold: "Okay, Lenny, fuck this!...Why do I care whether I'm kosher meat? Man, if McD's grinds a Jew they better make him a kosher burger! But this is about that stupid kid not knowing that it's better to not step on a fucking skateboard." He pointed at the happy meal and then at the toy his litte daughter wanted.

HarryGold: "Any idea where I can get a replacement on such a short notice?...Yeah, that is part of your job!...No, fuck you..." Suddenly a loud voice reached his ear out from between the noise around him. He checked the restaurant and found the source. "Talking to you later." Then he closed the phone and stepped over to the little group of girls.

Cessily: "I don't really like the food they have here." Cessily commented and propped her arm on the table to rest her chin on her hand. She sucked some more on her milkshake. "It all tastes kinda bland. There certainly are better things to taste out there than limp burgers. Can we stop by the greek place later?"

Anna: Anna wrinkled her nose, "Yeah but promise me you won't make me eat it. I'm Irish, raised on potatoes. We like bland." She grinned at Cess then picked up her burger, stuffed some fries in under the bread and bit into it. "Yum!" she said with her mouth full.

Adriana: "Hey, that looks awesome!" She copied Anna and the result was one satisfied "Mmmmmmmmmm".

HarryGold: Harry came closer and cleared his throat. "Hello young ladies. The name is Harry Gold." He gave them a bunch of business cards, there could never be enough of them, they drowned away any objection.

HarryGold: "I'm an agent of the stars, and I think I have a great offer for this young lady here." He pointed at Adriana.

Cessily: Cessily glanced up, still sucking on her milkshake. "Hello?" She blinked in surprise when a business card was shoved into her hand. Cessily gaze shifted back and forth between Anna and Adriana, a questioning look her face.

Anna: Anna blinked up at the man, her gaze then sliding to Adriana, then she looked up again. "Er.... hi...?"

Adriana: The weird man received a big pair of puppy-dog eyes and then she pointed at herself. "Wha-...?"

HarryGold: "Hun, I won't lie to you: McDonald's has hired one of my actresses for one of their ads, and from the start I thought that something was lacking with her. And then I come in here and BAM!" He smashed his fist into his hand, filling the room with a loud slap. "You are perfect! I totally want you in this ad, contracts be damned. Because I know you're perfect!"

Anna: Anna gave a little yelp of surprise and jolted with surprise at the 'bam'. She blinked up at the man again then gave Cess a look before shrugging at her.

Cessily: Cessily stared silently at the stranger at their table and wondered if he had a rewind button. She returned Anna's confused look before turning to Adriana. Apparently he meant her, much to Cessily's relief.

Adriana: "Yooouuuuu...want me to act?...in an ad?" She held up her burger. "For this?"

HarryGold: Now, she was a 'smart' one it seemed. Oh well, all the better, he only needed her for that one shot. Good that her friends seemed to be as slow as her. Something in the back of his mind that one of them had some kind of weird colour, but he was running on nitro now and small obstacles in the way to his goal could be easily ignored.

HarryGold: "Yeah! For this! Exactly! You're a smart girl." He came even a bit closer again and leaned forward, speaking with a low voice to made them lean in closer to him. "I know what you're thinking: 'This guy totally is a perv who wants to hire us for a porn or wants to molest us in his van.'. Right? Well ladies...No!"

HarryGold: He smashed his hands on the table. "I'm a man with a passion: I want to make talents BIG!" You could hear out the capitals in 'BIG'. "I am Harry Gold...Harry Gold...Harry Gold...I want to invite these girls to a shoot for an advertisement for this fine etablissement." He started handing out cards to random people around them to show that he was trustworthy.

Anna: Anna found herself thinking that she felt sorry for anyone that tried to molest Adriana in his van and giggled. She watched him handing out cards, "He's mental!" she whispered to the others.

Cessily: "I'm not so sure about the not wanting to molest us part." Cessily whispered back, suddenly feeling even more exposed and at the center of attention than she usually did. Which said a lot, considering that being silver usually meant being quite exposed. "But he seems annoying enough to actually work in the show business."

HarryGold: Ah, now they were speaking up. "Don't worry girls, don't worry. It's all good! Lookit here!" He dangled his car keys in front of the girls' faces (noticing how the one he wanted for the ad was instantly fixed on them). "What do you say one of you drives my nice little Mercedes Benz SL out in front while I give directions? We can draw up a nice little contract on the way and you'll get a good salary for a few minutes of running over a field with a burger in your hand while smilling?" The last question was directed at Adriana.

Adriana: She grabbed for the keys. A Mercedes Benz! She always had wanted to drive one of those! "Deal!...Right girls?!" She was grinning at the other two like a madwoman.

Anna: Anna raised an eyebrow, "Er....." she looked at Cess, "Maybe we should go... just to keep an eye on her?" she muttered, "Looks like we couldn't talk her out of it if we tried..." she then realised that Adriana had made a grab for the keys as though she expected to drive and gave the man a benign smile, "She's a treasure, isn't she?"

HarryGold: "A real darling, she is!"

Cessily: Cessily nodded slowly, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the combined hyperness of Adriana and this Gold guy. "Yeah, I think the only thing we can do now is go along and keep an eye on her." She looked at Anna. "And make sure they don't run off somewhere random or do other stupid things."

Anna: Anna frowned, "Yeah I don't think we'll have much luck there but I'm all for trying... Maybe we'll get more free food?"

Adriana: "Cool!" She was off her seat and out of the door in a hurry. A moment later the she held in front of the entrance in a silvery car and with squeaking tires. the window slowly sunk down and she was motioning at them to come out.

HarryGold: "What the...?" Harry couldn't even look fast enough to follow the girl's movements, and he stood there motionlessly until he finally twitched in pain when he saw his car being womanhandled that way. "She...is a good driver, yes?"

Cessily: "I've never seen her drive anything before." Cessily replied. She put on a grin and immediately added: "But I'm sure she knows what she's doing." Leaning towards Anna, she muttered under her breath: "I'm not sure anymore we'll even manage to keep up with her."

Anna: Anna gave a short nervous laugh and an exaggerated nod to the man, "Oh... yeah... she's a great driver... mmmhmm." She kept nodding and checked she had her gloves on tight so she could hold on to something.

HarryGold: He gave Anna a suspicious look, and then finally something crept up into his mind. He turned around to Cessily and finally directly looked at her for the first time. "Hey...you're silver..."


Summary: Adriana gets 'discovered' in McDonalds.
