Actually, I'd really like to hear peoples' answer to this one, as I'm currently writing the script for a story that has a character with angelic wings, and was trying to figure out that exact thing...

as for my own questions:

Could Gambit use his power to make toast? Would you dare to eat it?

How does Magneto control all metals? Aluminum for example is not the least bit magnetic.

As for the Angel question, he could probably sleep on his side kinda draped over a pillow. Or maybe on the edge of the bed with his wings hanging over. Although, that might give him a crick in his wings. Ouch.

well, sleeping on his back would DEFINATELY make his wings fall asleep......

How much weight can Kurt's tail support? Like, could he lean back on it, or rear up like a kangaroo?

Does Wolverine have a hard time picking his nose? Does Kurt?

If Iceman makes ice out of thin air by pulling the moisture out of it, why doesn't everyone in the room get nosebleeds?

Does the blood all rush to Kurt's head when he hangs upside down? Maybe he's used to it since he does it so much...

I actually drew a picture of them picking their noses, with Ororo and Jean looking all disgusted in the background. I guess it just might be easier.

I don't know about Angel, but Paige's brother was shown laying on his side in the "She lies with angels" story arc.

I'm not a bio major but, I think it has some nerve receptors of some kind. All I know for sure is that my dog can bang her tail on anything and it doesn't bother her, however she jumps if you step on her tail.

I think dust would be incenrated the moment it got past his ruby-quartz glasses or visor. The ruby-quartz on the other hand, Im not sure what would happen, but from I understand, his beams are from a different dimension, so my guess is that if shards were to fall into his eyes, theyd probably enter the other universe that his beams are originating from.

Jean-Paul has pointed ears, I dont know why hes drawn without them sometimes.

If Kurts eyes are anything like Gambits, then he has a hard time with bright lights, including flashes.

If you read one of the Uncanny Arcs where she and Angel get injured and land in some forest, when she sheds her skin, she doesnt have clothing on. Angel comes to just in time to see her naked. So, Im pretty sure that when she Husks, her clothes are gone and she cant make them come back.


Azazel has fur like Kurt, only his fur is red, instead of blue.

Well, the child never touches the mother until birth, so a carefully planned C-section could protect the baby. And Rogue has borne a child, Charles-Magnetos son, in AoA. Of could, the baby could also be immune to her powers (something like Alex and Scott) so it is possible.

Well, being magnetic isn’t the problem I think. Since almost everything responds to electro-magnetic forces, he could just be manipulating that.

Probably when his powers first began manifesting, no he couldn’t. And if he gets injured badly enough or ill enough, his control could slip and cause problems, but under normal circumstances, I don’t believe he would have any difficulties. And you could stick a fork to his head if he wanted you too.

That makes sense....a lot of related mutants seem to be immune to each other's powers (Wasn't Nocturne immune to the effects of NC's bamfing?)

Geek Strap. You know that geeky-looking sports strap that holds glasses on durning sports? He could wear one of those. But as long as he's had to wear the glasses/visor he would be used to it by now. Probably feels funny without it.

and speaking of sleeping, does he sleep with those on? and if not, does he ever accidentily blast holes in the wall?

I was under the impression he slept with a pair of glasses on that had the geek strap on them, something like swim goggles on...anyone know?
