Ok, I may be a bit biased, but I love those big pictures (ever since I've started to search for Waldo :shifty). I think that cover rawks!

And since it is said that this comic represents the start to the X-over this year, I think speculations about what you can see on it are allowed:

1. You can see Jubes on it, a bit left to Xavier's giant baldiness. It was hinted that she might come back, this could be a proof.

2. Mags is on there, so he might show his tin-head again this year.

3. Banshee's there too :shifty

Well, I know that a big part of the comic business is about the surprise, so that some of those 'hints' might be bull. On the other side, we don't have all of the X-Men on there (eg those from Excalibur, except Juggy, and X-Factor), so it shouldn't be only a pic of all of the important X-Men (if you want to mention that, let's say, Nocturne isn't important anyway, so it's no wonder she isn't on that pic, let me step aside for a sec, so that our resident TJ fanatic can do, what she might do :P).
Btw, I've also posted this so that whoever wants it on his screen can have it, I surely have a new desktop since today :shifty

PS: Someone tell me if I'm wrong, but could it be that, at least on this cover, Raven pwns all the other women in the 'assets' department?

That is GORGEOUSSSSSSSS. I don't think there are any hints here though...I dont think it means any of the characters on here that are dead/depowered/missing/horsemen(:bite) are coming back. It's just a milestone cover for a milestone issue.

But it's hot. I see Husk, I see Northstar, I see Gambit, I see Dazzler, I is happy. Very very pretty :love

Yay Northstar! Seriously, that is an AWESOME cover. Who does pencils and ink? On second thought, I could probably look that up.

Then I look closer. Its also Thunder Thighs Gambit!

Still - I'm very very very excited. Too cool!

I see Gambit, I see Cable. I meant to start reading X-Men again when Mike Carey started because I LOOOVE Mike Carey but ummmm never did read any of it. So I don't know anyone else in that preview. I did like his writing on Endangered Species even if the art didn't back it up.

On the cover, I'd say Jean wins biggest tits over Rogue, with Psylocke's freakishly lopsided single giant boob getting an honourable mention

OK. What is it with the boobs! Like...fine. Make them big enough to feed a small town, fine. But boys..they aren't balloons! they have weight, a bit of shape. They aren't perfectly round...and they look DUMB perfectly round.

I'm not talking about making them into oranges in tube socks, but tits shouldn't reach all the way up to the collarbone! (Jean's DO!)

Yeesh.

Rogue's boobs appear to be hanging off her neck.

Maybe these artists should lay off the comics and watch some porn to get a better idea of what boobs look like. They'll still be laughable, but at least there will be some small nod to a possible reality.

*wants to join the booby talk*

Hey Paws, it's not thaaaat bad...ok, it is :P

But if I'm not completely wrong (could be, I don't care that much about the artists), only a few of the Marvel artists strive for mellon boobies hanging down from the women's shoulders, at least certain drawing styles are quite related to overwhelming bouncyness :shifty

Plus: You don't see those BIG thingers in the actual comic so much (guess they don't have enough time to colour all that space :D). Covers are mainly to attract the eye, advertisement on another layer. So I stand here in shame and admit that a certain amount of aforement bouncyness also attracts this humble scrawlers unclean eyes :blush

About the unnatural shape: I just guess they're easier to draw that way ;) (and the pages get less sticky from all the comic geeks if them boobs look unnatural :naughty)

I have seen some pretty fricken fake yucky bubble porn boobies too - and I don't get the attraction, but at least they weren't resting their chin on them!

And yeah, I get the whole bounce and big and grunt grunt manly desire for the female breast. Trust me. My hubby's a boob man. I'm cool with that. Its just when they look so ridiculous that I'm like...how can THAT be enjoyable? It would be like a guy taping a large purple 'device' downstairs and expecting me to believe it was 'his'. It can't possibly be! It looks fake! You can spot it a mile away! And obviously fake to me /= attractive.

OY! No one's read it yet? WTF!!

I got it like...first thing!! (Well, mainly because my comic shop was on my way home from last night :P). It was cool, but a tad confusing in areas. I think the art was what confused me but HE'S BACK AND AWESOME!!! I won't go into detail cause I hate spoiler tags, but WOOO!!

I'll second the woo! I got it earlier, and I agree on the confusing art, but as soon as I saw that full-page image of Remy I knew you guys would be squeeing. :D I liked it!

I got the one with the mauraders cover - and yesh, there were some parts in there that I had to double read, but OOOOH so much hinting, and so many areas that you simply have no idea where they are gonna go with it.

I'm still not a fan of that art. But I'll live. I REALLY enjoyed it.

So when are we opening this to discussing specifics? LOL

OK. First off, I think that Gambits little line to Cable was a set up. It was a way of him giving Cable a code, that will later turn around and help the x-men.

The mystique thing at the end DID suprise me. The Bobby/Mystique thing was eww.

I LOVED that Henry had to turn to all those 'villians' in that desperate last ditch attempt to save the species.

And the quiet bill reference. OOOOH!

The one thing I HATED was the photoshopping. (the cards and the clock). It just seemed so out of place. I would have much rather he spent the extra time and actually DREW it.

Yeah, I agree - that was a total mislead with Remy and Cable. I enjoyed the crazy Rogue stuff, and bringing in the other X-Men. The intros for the Marauders were very cool - I loved Malice's little trick.

The Bobby/Raven was very ew. Bobby should have a fun conversation with Kurt the next time they see each other. "Dude... I did your mom." :LMAO

Quiet Bill? I caught the Guild reference, but not who he was really.
