Nightcrawler in 'Underground'

Post by Dark Bamf » Wed Sep 01, 2004 1:35 am

Anybody see the movie 'Underground'? I just caught it on HBO the other night. It's about a secret, centuries-long war between vampires and werewolves ('Lycans'). One of the werewolf leaders was trying to force an end to the war by cross-breeding the two species. The result he got didn't have a tail or funny hands and feet, but he had shadowy blue skin, tangled black hair and a darkened face, fangs, and he was strong and athletic as hell. He looked more like Nightcrawler than Alan Cummings did, believe me!

Not to be rude, but I think the movie is called "Underworld"
"No matter what I do;no matter how hard I try...the ones I love will always be the ones who pay..."- Peter Parker

Whatever life holds in store for me, I will never forget these words:'With great power comes great responsibilities.' This is my gift, my curse...who am I ?...I'm Spider-Man."-Peter Parker

Being brilliant isn't enough. Intelligence is a gift, and you use it for the good of mankind.

Or blowing up New York. You know. Whatever suits your fancy. -My Doc Ock perspective

Which do I like more? Leroux, Kay, or Webber?
Leroux gave the Phantom life.
Kay gave the Phantom a soul.
Webber gave the Phantom a voice.
Consider that, and you'll see why I can't choose.

I was too sick to see it when it was in the theatres, I'll have to check it out when I can rent it :) I heard good things about it though.

Saw, Underworld myself... in the theater with my mom first then went on to own both versions on DVD.... The original theatrical release, and the extended edition....

For Vampire or Werewolve enthusiasts a great film. I went into it thinking it wouldn't be much, but the people who put it together really did an excellent job... Check it out if you are ever at your local video shop.......

And yes I had the same thoughts looking at the hybrid at the end... What could have been eh???

Underground two is coming out soon (I think January)and it makes me wonder if Michael was still blue at the end?! I don't remember the movie that much and I forgot whether he reverted back or stayed blue..
