We'll see. Depends on whether my hand is cooperating. If I do, it'll most likely be pencils only--my inking skills have gone to hell the last couple of years. Price is usually$30 per figure.

Since going on dialysis I feel a lot better, but my hands have stiffened considerably. My left hand has become all but useless. Fortunately, I'm right handed. I've done some limited sketching lately, but nothing very elaborate. My eyes are still giving me problems, and I have cataracht surgery coming up in my left eye in July. Hopefully, that'll clear my vision to some degree.

Sounds like it would still be worth the $30. Now if only I could scrape together the time off and travel expenses to get there!

Well there's hope then that your health could improve soon. How is the right eye? Did it totaly recover from last fall's surgery by now? By chance after July with the return of the left eye, the work of the right eye will be easier.

That previous surgery was on the left eye too. I'd had broken blood vessels in it and they had left 'floaters'--floating debris--which interfered with my vision. After the surgery to clear out the floaters, my vision in that eye was blurred; it seems the surgery accelerated the growth of a cataract.

My right eye is mostly ok with a corrective lens, but the doctor tells me there's a cataract forming there too--which means sooner or later I'll have to have surgery there too.
