What is the Worst thing people could do to change Nighty?

i think they already have done the worst they could do to him... well no, the VERY worst thing would be to cut off his tail. no wait, they did that, in the mangaverse, right before he DIED :p

ok seriously in 616 the priest thing WAS pretty unbearable. but yeah if they changed his appearance by lopping off the tail, or changing his hands that would be terrible...

no wait. the WORST they could do is have him start to devolve like Beast and end up a blue spider monkey. :p

Ummm, if they chose his background to be boring and lifeless. Yeah, if they took away the tail, fur, lack of fingers or if they made him another colour, that'd be yukky and bad. What else? If they turned him into a real sleaze. Yeah, that'd be pretty bad.

I would be devistated if they gave him horns or hooved feet. Don't even say things like...*shudder*...a Kurt without a tail or without his fur...thats just wrong!

The worst thing Marvel could do to Kurt would be to turn him into some kind of over-exposed publicity hound, whose very existence was geared around doing one thing - talking tough and gutting bad guys, just because he could.

Oh wait, they already did that with Wolverine. Lucky escape, huh? :p

Seriously, the worst thing they could do to Kurt would be to try and contemporise him in the worst possible way - giving him a 90s-style codename with the words "death" or "blood" in it somewhere, for instance...

Kitty: "So, fuzzy elf, why'd you change from being Nightcrawler to DeathUrgeBloodSplash?"

Kurt: "Ach, I just felt like a change. By the way, you like this collection of implausibly-large guns I picked up from Cable? I think they will give me a better chance in battle, ja? I mean, Mein Gott, I was tired of getting thrown around by bad guys. Now, they will know that the mighty DeathUrgeBloodSplash won't be pushed around! Hahaha!"

Kitty: "Uh... okay. I'm just going to go... over here now. See you... later..."

yup! if it aint broke, don't fix it! now, having him progress as a character is something that should be done, but it should not be done for the heck of it, or to creat controversy. it should be a logical extension of what is already there.
