Nightcrawler or not Nightcrawler

i like somethin with 'Shadow' in the name, like 'Nightshadow' or somethin.... i'm horrible with this kinda thing.....

Nightshade and Shadow? Man, I use that for fic characters! You've been spying on me!

I don't know about NC, but I always thought Nocturne's name should have been something like "Nightwitch", in homage to her parents!

Not Nightcrawler? Mmmm.... Kurt's powers sometimes remind me of a character I read in a book once (Thieve's World) called Shadowspawn. The ability to blend into shawdow and climb up walls with ease: the name just fit. It might work for Kurt if he wasn't called Nightcrawler anymore.

.... of course as long as he isn't called Father Kurt ever again I'll be happy.

I like the idea of Nightshade. Makes me think about the Nightmare Before Christmas, it does.

I think if it were left to his own devices, he'd name himself after some Biblical figure or reference. I just can't think of any fitting ones at the moment... can anyone else?

I love the name Nightcrawler, despite the worm association, but you do kind of wonder what they were thinking there, don't you?

You know, I used to do a lot of fishing when I was a kid and go with my dad to hunt nightcawlers with a flashlight (the worms, mind you) But since I was introduced the Fuzzy Elf, if anybody uses that word, I never think of worms any more.

Oh, and I like Blue Knight (I guess that's Batman's nickname?) because that's how I see Kurt, and I think that's often how he sees himself.

Feh, Cannot translate 'night crawler' with my German dictionary. But he could be "Nacht Kriecht" It has a nice sound to it
