Does anyone know who created the logo for the Nightcrawler series Dave wrote and drew back in the 80s?

I think he probably means the logo he has the link to?
I'm not sure dude but my best guess is the guy who did the cover? Sometimes though text/fonts/and other stuff isn't always done by the artist. I've seen a lot of cover art that's just the image before the title, names, etc, are thrown on there.

Since its a new series they have someone design the logo, its rare the cover artists does it but it isnt unheard of. I just wanted to ask and see if Paty or someone else on the forum knows who designed it.

Hi...
Back in that day, we had lettering designers who
worked either on staff or freelance.
My best bet for who designed this lettering would be
either Danny Crespi, who was head of the display
lettering department... or a freelance designer named
Jim Novack, who did many of the Logos at that time.
My best guess is Jim. I know Dave liked his style of
lettering design and specified that Jim do the design
of the futurians logo which Marvel printed as a
graphic novel in the early eighties.
My best bet is that Jim Novack designed the
nightcrawler logo for Marvel.
