Hollywood would have you believe that all men are 6' or more, but the average height for a man is 5'8"

5'8? I'm a little taller then that. Is that the average WORLD height? Because that'd make more sense since a lot of men are really short in the asian countries and some of the third world ones.

I had usually heard that was average for america.

I just looked it up again and got a lot of different opinions (it depends on who's doing the data). I've also seen 5'9 and 5'10.

I don't believe there is a true average height!:smirk:
Vala: "Hello."
Daniel: "What the hell are you doing here?"
Vala: "Isn't this my room?"
Daniel: "Noooo… your room is across the hall… with the… guard in front of it."
Vala: "Ah yes, they do all rather look alike don't they? Anyhow, Since I'm here, shall we make the best of it?"
Daniel: "No, we shalln't."

Well, just seems to me there's a lot of tall teenage boys now who are over 5'8, but I could be wrong. Then again, that's not the world average either. Did that make sense? nm :p

Kurt Wagner, that's it, there is no other. We have about a whole page of Wagners in our York Phone book...and one Kurt Wagner in a nearby town...so I like the name. And it's prononceable.

Exactly how does being 5'9" constitute as small?

And in that X-2 novel thing, they said he was 6'0, not--

(realizes she's being a dork and shuts up)

Why no less than 50 characters per post? It's not really a problem for me 'cause I can ramble for an age... But how are you supposed to play the word association game now?
