I know this is kinda random, but after a long, LONG absence from the forum, I thought I could amuse some people with these little pictures.

And of course, there's a backstory for this:

Around a year ago I bought a few action figures on eBay, these two among them. Less than a month later, I came home one day to find Spidey's leg broken at the knee articulation (either by the cleaning lady or my mother, I will never know). I used adhesive tape to keep the leg from falling off until I found a more permanent solution.

So one night, not long after, I was kinda bored and I was idly moving some of my action figures around the desk, choosing new poses for them, but I couldn't keep Spiderman upright and couldn't find him a decent pose because I couldn't bend his leg. I ended up trying to lean him against Nightcrawler, but he kept falling, sometimes bringing Kurt down with him. I then tried to pose Kurt in a way that he would somehow support Spidey... and things kinda spiraled down from there.

I've read the thread about NC and Spidey and I agree that they should be more friendly to each other. There's an author in FFNet who has written a few crossover stories with Marvel and the TMNT, and all of them feature Kurt and Spidey (actually, 2 of them are written on Spidey's POV). And I love the way she writes them. They are constantly taunting and teasing each other, but in a good way, and they also complement each other in a way, and they respect each other. She calls their friendship a "friendly rivalry" and I think it's spot on.

PS. Spidey's leg could not be saved, and though I still have him in a drawer, I've since replaced him. Sorry, Spidey!

And though I am now occasionally crazy, I am not mad. :love Great stuff!

One fellow at ff started a "Marvel Knights" in LOTR. It was pretty fun, and Spidey and Kurt had some nice moments together, plus Logan and Kurt of course. Think he might have abandoned it (or, like me, been sidetracked for a year *ahem*).

Thx for sharing. Too cute. Hmmm ... would make nice wallpaper. Would it be legal of me to use it for such?

By all means, if you like them, use them! :D

Marvel Knights in LOTR as in Lord of the Rings? That would be an interesting read. Sounds kinda weird.

And yeah, now that you mention it Nandireya, it does look like he's doing a Big No. :LOL
