I've still got the set from when I originally bought it in 1986. Just recently went back over and read them all. In near mint condition, too

i picked them up in the early 90's when i first really got into comics. Loved them. Got a great deal of flack at the time since they weren't what every one else was reading.

Right now i've got a list of Kurt's appearances and attempting to get them all. I'm mainly only missing some of the random appearances where he really doesn't do much.

Ebay is great for stuff like that - I couldn't get the mini series in Germany for ages (only for really extortionate prices...

) and about half a year ago I finally got the comics from someone in the US....
They're SO much fun to read....

And I also liked the Elfquest references....

Ebay is great way to find odd stuff. NC has been much more prominent since the movie came out (which is cool when looking for stuff, but also means the price is higher).

I was sooo not born early enough!!! GRRR!!!

I've only been able to find two comics from two diff stores with NC. . . and both were right in the middle of their arcs (?) err w/e one is issue 3 of 4 and the other is 2 of 3 and I have no idea what is going on, but as long as it has Nighty in it.

Haven't been able to make a trip to an actual comicbook store . . . yet. Must save up money!!!

This is the pirate one, right? the Nightcrawler four-parter with the bamfs and "your costume...it...disappeared! How did you do that? And can you do it again?"

Found it at my local comic store.

It's awesome, and proves that Dave Cockrum can write too. I'm guessing this the real Nightcrawler, the way Cockrum wanted him written. Note the UPC code on the front cover, with the bamfs; 1 on ish one, 2 on ish two, etc...they're a hoot! Loved the Elfquest references too, since, in the past, I have also howled with the wolfriders.

Now, if I could only find Excalibur....
