Around Halloween you can find some good quality plastic ears. You can use spirit gum to help them stick on.

Not at all! It's just an adhesive, like latex.
Vala: "Hello."
Daniel: "What the hell are you doing here?"
Vala: "Isn't this my room?"
Daniel: "Noooo… your room is across the hall… with the… guard in front of it."
Vala: "Ah yes, they do all rather look alike don't they? Anyhow, Since I'm here, shall we make the best of it?"
Daniel: "No, we shalln't."

Paty's got some latex ear points that she got at a Star Trek con. They only fix to the tops of your ears, so most of what shows are your own. And yeah, they stick on with spirit gum.

She used them as part of her Klingon costume (we were both once in a Klingon club). Her character was half Klingon, half elf. She had the Klingon forehead, pointy ears, and long white hair.

My character had a vaguely greenish complexion because a female ancestor had been on a pre-federation expedition to Earth's Amazon basin and was raped by the Creature From the Black Lagoon.

LOL! I was a card-carrying member of the Klingon Language Institute! My personal favorite was always "nuqDaq 'oH puchpa''e'"

I bought some of those ear tips last year when I was a wood elf for Halloween. They worked pretty well.

Charm. And accent. And his wit, which is sometimes really excellent.

Pointy ears? Geeze, I have always wanted pointy ears! Very much so. I couldn't get any in time for my Nightcrawler costume last year, but I found some for my elf one this year. You can check out buycostumes.com for some. And no, spirit gum in painless if you use it right. ;)

If you expect the unexpected, then wouldn't the unexpected be
expected?

One of my friends once told me about a guy he knew with real pointy ears. The kid had been pulling at twisting at his ears daily for God only knows how long and eventually they just stuck that way. :eek

There was some kind of show on the discovery health channel years back, that a baby was born with an abnormally long tail bone, but the baby didn't survive, good thing too because the family of the woman who gave birth to it truely believed it to be the spawn of satan and were gonna kill it. I would rather have my child die in a natural, non-vilent way than to have it killed by my own family.

:DI soooo want pointy ears...and a tail...could have some fun with that:lick:naughty:p:kiss
