Yay!!! I just got Nightcrawler #1 (original)

I thought I'd never find a copy. So I started digging through WizardWorld and found tons of people willing to sell. Thus far I have #1 and #4 (someone gave it to me for FREE). I'm in the process of buying 2 and soon I'm gonna get 3 as well. I don't even know if the series was good or not. All I know is that I want it.

So I guess I just made this post to go um. . . . YAY!!!!

I got all four off eBay a couple years back. I liked the series a lot, and though I don't remember exactly what I paid for it, it wasn't a lot. The comics were in awesome condition too!

Congrats! Good luck hunting for the others. It's the AoA Excaliburs I need...

I have doubles of several issues- possibly the whole set. I don't remember how that happened, but it did.

They are not in great condition, (I buy for the stories, and stories are meant to be read, and these are well-read stories 'cause they're good!) but not so bad. If anyone's interested, give me a holler.

they pretty good actually

i enjoyed the story and the art a lot, is ten times better than the "icon" miniseries.

The icon miniseries was a disappointment for me, I'm afraid. The old one was so much fun!

The original is great because it's wacky, crazy, waaay out of touch w/ reality, and shows his humorous side.

The other I like because of it's complete opposite to the first : a complete focus on reality, and how even as super as super-heroes are, they still have limits and can't save the world from every evil.

Though, I am one to like the philosophical story A LOT.

Maybe that has something to do with it...

Yah I'm not a big fan of philisophical. Well mostly I'm just not in to the religious Kurt thing. My main problem with it actually though was the art. I just really have a problem with that. No offense to anyone who doesn't.

I loved it. It was written a loooong time ago, and you can tell, but it's still a great story. No Nightcrawler fan should be without it...especially since you can probably get the entire series for about $3 total...Sometimes the goofy-assed stories are best.

Oh good Heavens me too:laugh:! That's why I love movies like Freaks and Trainspotting, and my idol is Johnny Eck as I've said before, then of course Nighty happens to be pretty strange in a wonderful sort of way!:love: Though I wouldn't call him insane.
