i've been holding off on this cause.. well, Crawler is kindly making us perfectly serviceable RP characters. maybe we can tie that into Nightcrawler somehow...?

True - but some still might want ot use their own, self-made characters, or even play other, pre-existing ones.
Perhaps Crawler's could be the starter characters, and then those who chose to branch out could do so as they wish.
I acctually like this whole Terrigen Mists idea - although I hope the RPG will not be limited to just that?

I was just thinking the same thing, Bamfette. Though, some of us may not be as lucky as you & I have been so far. I mean, yeah, we've got totally usable characters...but some people might not. The Terrigen Mists thing is basically just for fun, so anyone who doesn't like their results can "take the antidote" and be normal again. I guess we can have Normal people along for the ride...
However, I think that most likely those Normal people will want to be published characters, so we''l have to account for that. However, at the moment, I VERY VERY VERY much want to use my new Inhuman self as my character for this budding RPG. And, once you see yours, I'm sure you will, too.
So I guess what all that rambling is meant to say is that we'll probably end up mishmashing both our new Inhuman-Scrawlers and Comic characters into a playable RPG here.
However, I think that most likely those Normal people will want to be published characters, so we''l have to account for that. I had always thought that it would be interesting to have normal people on the X-Men. I mean, what better way to show that you're fighting for coexistence than to actually coexist within your team? Unfortunately, I fear that the Human characters would end up being the lame catalyst for all the stories. Always getting kidnapped or hurt or whatnot....oh well. Maybe someone will want to be human in this, anyway.

Well- i just came out of my college-inflicted-lurking-mode long enough to say that I'd love to play in the RP. If you want us to play "official" chars- I'd be fine with that (though I have no idea who I'm suited to play ^.^) --- or if you'd allow original characters that'd be fun---and if you need more humans I'd be happy to do that too! (I've got lots of practice pretending! to be human!!!) I guess what I mean to say is- count me in! :
