Well, I don't know what you guys are talking about with the 6 arms...I hadn't heard anything about that. That sounds more like Spiral than Lady Deathstrike to me. I think the Anne/Yukio combo is interesting and may give the whole thing a nice twist.

Think she'll have that history with wolvie in the movie? I doubt it, but it could be cool:)

It is? Yukio's SO not Lady Deathstrike. And Crawler's right, six arms is Spiral. Lady Deathstrike is the one with the long-ass fingers. She's part machine and also has adamantium, I think.

It is very possible that they're shooting without a completed script, though that would be a very bad sign. Personally, It sounds to me that they're trying to get too complicated. They need to keep all this stuff fairly simple if they want a mainstream audience, which I know they do.

Oh well, we'll see. I'm still just waiting for a promo pic of Alan Cumming.

yea, i hope a lot of this stuff is just rumors, cuz the way it sounds now, the movies would have to be about three hrs long just so that it would make any sort of sense.

The movie is trying to stay true to the characters to a degree, but there is no logical way that the histories can be duplicated (there are just too many twists and turns and way too much material). So while I would not be surprised if there was some history between the two (Logan and LD) since she works with Stryker and Stryker holds the key to Logan's past...

Singer is weaving a mutant movieverse that can (and needs to) stand alone. Walking a tightrope to keep the old fans happy but still capture the interest of a first time viewer. Tricky stuff but he seems dedicated to doing a good job.

Oh that's LD! I remember that episode of the Fox X-men show. She was a bitch. Plus I was never really in to prosthetic fingernails.

I'm just curious on how they'll do Nightcrawler. Special effects and movie makup are a special intrest of mine, so I think about these things. I think it'll be neat to actually see Nightcrawler with fur; all the drawings don't really show that he has fur at all, and you wouldn't really be able to tell if they didn't explain it. There's a picture of Alan Cumming at blue-elf.com, and his face is real angular, so depending how much he'll be covered up in makup and CG, I think he looks quite a lot like Kurt.

I'm forever checking Alan's site to see if anything's been put up there...the only thing slightly related there explains why he won't be joining the rest of the cast until August...he's appearing in the first production of his very own theatre company, The Art Party, from the 17th to the 31st of July. Also, Famke Janssen was listed as one of the friends that attended the launch party...wonder if she put in a good word for him with Bryan? And seeing as he's not joining the shoot until then, we may be waiting quite a while yet to see him in make-up.

maybe is because they have to try different kinds of make up on him, but how much time is for august anyway?
