in ultimate x-men when did nightie join? i just got issue 38-39.

I believe Ultimate Nightcrawler was first shown in issue seven and onto tweleve before he left for a while and then came back. That's all I know. Sadly...my comic store doesn't have 7-12

He was introduced during the Weapon X saga, though he returned to Germany after it was all over.

He finally made his return in the Return of the King saga, and he's stuck around since.

Though I haven't actually read past the ROTK saga, because I insist on waiting for the trade paperbacks for some reason...

His first apperance was in Ultimate X-men #7, during the weapon X arc, he was in the cover, a lovely cover if you ask me.

swap the gold with Mroon and it could be very good- but the current colors are no good for stealth

Man that this is hideous. It was nice of them to stick to the original design i guess, but alot better could have been done.

I agree. I don't like the colors. But I like Nighty's costume design tho. A maroon as Nightcrawler ZERO said. Perhaps even a crimson red would have been fine.

Yes i don't like it either, i would personally liked to see him in black, and that cover Katzchen mentions is Ultimate X-men #39 i guess.

god, he looks horrible.

i remember the suit looked bad before but thats just cruel.

how would you like to have his ultimate costume?

id say: black military pants with pockets but still agile.
a black and roomie duffel jacket with high... uh... whats it called? collar? the thing around the neck anyway.

no shirt (just for you ladies out there)
a big shining silver cross in a chain around his neck.

id do somethint serious about his feet aswell. maybe give him military boots that would fit him. i like to see him with very large and agressive souls (yeah, my spelling suck) his downward teleport kick seems a bit weak unless his using shoes.

also id like to add a new element to this character. a stance. or a fighting lance. not like gambits but close.

I dunno, it looked okay in the most recent ish, 40, I think. But yes, he would look alot cooler if they would just give him a uniform like the rest of the team.
