how do you draw the fork at the end of the tail?

PS (that's the thing on the end of the tail that looks like an arrow head for all who don't know)

(this is the last one i swear..lol)

I'm not sure what the difference is between an arrow head and a triangle. :?

In this case, it might be better termed an eqilateral triangle ( "triangle" ) and an isosceles triangle ( "arrowhead" ). The former has all three sides the same length, while the latter has one short side and two longer ones.

MovieCrawler has the spade. The tip is thin and flexible, and looks like it could grasp anything with great dexterity, a bit like an elephant's trunk. In the book, depending on who's drawing him, it's usually a cute little equilateral triangle, and it isn't used to grab things on its own. So if you're doing the blue-skinned, scarred MovieCrawler, go with the spade. Otherwise, I'd go with the triangle.

And for the record...it's never a 'fork'. Something that's forked is split, like a snake's tongue.

SPADE- Bottom curves in (rounded)
TRIANGLE- Bottom is flat
ARROWHEAD- Bottom curves in (sharp)

I put like an arrow head....or as someone said-a non-equilateral triangle.

Thanks for the clarification, and yeah, taekwondodo's right.

Anyway, I prefer the arrowhead.

I like whatever shape it is when he can use it to eat peanuts--where he has three "points' to hold peanuts with. Is that the spade? I think it is. That's my vote.

I'll go with the arrowhead, it is just so bad ass, and I think it looks better on him than a spade or triangle thingummijigger.

Hey man, it technically is a "forked tail" because it was originally drawn kinda like those spaceships in that game space rocks (ya know that really old game) ok fine like arrowheads...

Plus..Dave Cockrum himself calls it a forked tail...so talk to him.

And think of the 'fork' being the other way around, look at it the other way, and you'll see it forks out towards the base.

I'm all for piercings but not in his tail his ears, eyebrows, tung or labret would be awesome especially the labret put a littel spike there that would be mint.

I'm not even sure he would be able to get a piercing in his tail! isn't it all muscle and too tough? it would hurt like heck if he tried it! his nose and eyebrow would look cute though, and maybe one of his ears from top to bottom!

I think a piercing in his tail could be dangerous. He uses like a third "hand," so it would be easy to get the jewlery snagged on things and possible tear it out. Ouch!
The lower part of his ears would probably be pretty safe, but up on the pointy part could get snagged, too.
Maybe a piercing somewhere in his pants would be safest.
