Thanks, folks, I hope to see all your letters! I've already received a few.

The release date was delayed to give retailers a little extra time to order the book, as we felt people would order it more once they had a chance to see how good it was.

Here are the release dates that I have:

#3 - December 8th
#4 - December 22nd
#5 - January 19th

I'm going to wait until the next issue comes out to write in, I want a general idea of what to write... Do we email letters to you:? Also, if I send you a letter then (December 10th most likely) would it be in the next issue if you pick it or in like issue 10?!:bamf

Hi Blue Demon,

If you want an example of what people generally write in letters columns, you can pick up most any X-title these days -- most of them have a letters page. If you wrote in now, your letter would appear in issue #5. And yes, you can e-mail them -- just send them to officex@marvel.com, marked "okay to print".

hey Steph, since you're in this thread and jsut gave release dates of the issues... any idea when the trade is going to be out? I'm switching to trades... and yes, i know 'if you don't support the single issues a trade won't be made' but i just can't deal with the clutter of single issues and fanboy shop owners anymore.

As long as you buy the trade to support this great series, we're good.

It would be a shame for blue elf's fans to miss such an event !

Buy the singles! C'mon guys. They are finally trickling their way back in bookstores. I still support my local comics store but I also like to sneak a comic when I'm at Indigo ("For me? Hahaha, no it's for the kids...okay it's for me...) Maybe if we all buy an extra one or two a month the price could drop down a bit (yeah, right...) and you could find comics at the grocery store again...

I only buy trades if I miss the singles ... or in the case of Ultimate X-men, cuz' my boyfriend wants to keep his issues in mint condition but still likes reading them everyday.

Hi guys,

Bamfette: let's see...#6 comes out in February, I think, so that means the trade should be out in April. But buy the single issues! This book is NOT a guaranteed perennial like UNCANNY X-MEN and needs all the support it can get! ALL of the solo X-titles do, so if you want them to continue, buy the single issues.

You know what I do? I buy the single issues, then when the trade comes out, I get the trade and either give the single issues to kids (since we all want actual kids to start reading comics so comics don't die out for good) or I trade them in somewhere.

Guys...I've only gotten three letters so far, and the letters page for #5 has to leave house next week. Come on here! Three letters are going to look pretty lonely on the page. If you don't write more letters, then Darick is going to be forced to write in to his own series...

Darick, going to WonderCon 2005 by any chance? Love to meet ya! I'm hoping to attend since I missed SDCC this year. But a new job maybe in the way. Not sure at the moment.
