Did you notice the Verb advertisement in your comic-books this week ??
Yeah people, it has Nightcrawler in it.
And not "one among the X-Men" Nightcrawler.
No, no. Nightcrawler alone, just like Wolvie a couple of months ago.
I think it's the first time Kurt has received this treatment.
Perhap's a good omen for the Nightcrawler ongoing series to last.
It means that the character we all love here is popular enough to be presented alone.
Joy, oh joy.

Marvel has paid startlingly little attention to Nightcrawler; I think the recent series and the advertisement are indications that Marvel has noticed that Nightcrawler definitely has a huge fan base.
And this is Definitely A Good Thing (tm).

I think the ongoing series and the advertisement happened because of Bryan Singer's idea of developping Kurt in X2.
We all should thank this man.
And Darick. You always have to thank Darick. :D

I think the first real sign of his popularity was him becoming a main character in Evolution, it was one of the first times I saw him outside of the two episodes he was on in the 90's cartoon. Due to Singer's movies and Evolution I came to really get into X-men... god bless Singer!:D

Yeah, Singer kick-started a lot of this stuff.
:: blushes ::
You know, I didn't really start becoming obsessed with Nightcrawler until I realized he was gonna be in X-2. Then I thought, "Well, if they're putting that much effort into him, he must be special" , and I started checking stuff out about him.
So yeah, God bless Singer!

I agree that X2 certainly kickstarted things for Nightcrawler. It was X2 that got me interested in him, and then I realised (reviewing a few old issues) that he really was a very dynamic and excellently-done character; I loved the way he was portrayed in X2 especially.

I got OBSESSED with Nightcrawler from X2 as well! My favorite character in my favorite movie! Then I went online, found out all I could about Kurt, and fell completely in love with him. When I bought an Evo DVD and saw him there I squeled with happiness at how awesome he was!
Back on topic, yes please, get a scan like Nightcrawless asked!! Daddy wont let me buy comics. Mommy doesn't care. And cousin sneaks his old ones to me!

done.
And I'd like to see more ads with Kurt.
Did you notice that he's seldom among the X-Men in the ads ??

I think it's wonderful to see more of Nightcralwer!! It really got me back into comics again when I saw that he had his own miniseries. The X2 helped to boost his character too, my friend had never heard of him till then.
About the Verb adds, I think they are rather odd, and they frankly creep me out. No one needs to see wolverine smile like that. It's wrong...
