*sigh* I have no idea whatsoever how to make my computer play the video. Yes, I am technologically illiterate. ><

Don't worry, you're not the only one. Oh well, I'm sure it's cool anyway.

Thayr, any way you can make this quicktime? I think my comp will play that.

Nero should play the file, as will the latest versions of QuickTime and RealPlayer. MP4 is a relatively obscure (though new) algorithm.

Man, this really makes me wish I had stuck with gymnastics when I was younger. It also puts me into costume-envy mode. This is some pretty cool stuff, sir, though I wonder if more people would recognize you in the movie costume?

I prefer the old look myself, but I bet more people walking down Hollywood Blvd. would be familiar with the movie costume versus the comic costume.

-idsunki, quite flabbergasted.

It would harder to do stunts in the movie costume and it doesn't compare to the original acrobat outfit.

I like the movies though I have one minor nit to pick. (Please take it in the spirit that it is offered - as one performer to another and not just some useless whining)

The costume works great on you and shows me exactly why I was right to replicate the movie costume. (Because there would be no way I could pass for a male acrobat in a lycra bodysuit. I'm just way too small. :)) The moves are great and your presence sells it. The only thing that's not doing it for me is the tail - it just doesn't look like it's part of you.

I'm not sure how you've got it attached but it has a certain "delay" to it's movements that gives it away as fake. So if you watch one of your saltos in the video, after you land, the tail goes "boi-oi-oingggg". I think the costume is sucessful, but if there was one improvement that could be made, it would be the tail. By changing the way it's attached, giving it varied weights and thicknesses along its length, and a few other small changes, you could give the costume a final bit of realism and totally push it over the edge.

But like I said, it's a minor nit.

Good job,
-e

WOW!

Extremely cool! Love the way ya end every acrobatic move in a kick a@@ 'Nightcrawer-ish' pose. Dude, you need to send a copy of that to MARVEL ISLAND at ISLANDS of ADVENTURE in Florida ....

YAYYY!!! Computer is fixed! I finally got them to play!!!

I've never seen anything so cool!! Yay for thayr! You seem to have put an awesome amount of effort into this, and I think B A M F ! is absolutely right about the Marvel islands thing.

Dammit, I wish you'd been doing this last year when I actually got to visit Hollywood Blvd ... I would have had a heart attack from sheer happiness and filled up six roles of film. Perhaps I can talk some friends into it for Spring break ...

Awesome. If only I could have shown those during my Nightcrawler speech I gave this morning. I bet more people would have paid attention then.

I really, really love the posing, especially with what I assume was a streetlamp. And the costume is great.

You've just earned yourself a groupie. :LOL

LOL! that is so full of joy! I'll second the comment about the dog petting, if not for the spiffy acrobatics I'd watch it again just to watch the dog petting. JOY BE TO DRESSING UP LIKE NIGHTY AND PETTING DOGS! :D

Hello everyone!

I feel like I'm sort of following in Kurt's footsteps- I recently got a job as an acrobat in the circus! Sorry if anyone comes looking for me on Hollywood Blvd, I'll be away touring Europe. I hope I can return soon to pat dogs and flip around on the street.
