I was there a long time ago, and I had a suggestion for the humor section... it's from the (first?) xmen-teen titans cross over. From memory, although I do own the book in question... Early in it Peter says something in Russian... (Translated as 'Piotr Nickoliovich, you are a fool'.)
Koriander (Starfire) goes "oh goody, a new language!" and does her usual lip-lock to learn it. While they're kissing, there's this half page spread of reaction shots to the scene and a couple of priceless bits of dialog...
Young Kitty (not even 14 yet): "That hussy, and Peter's enjoying it, too!"
But the crowning piece of the segment was from Kurt (with a hopeful look on his face): "Um, Frauline? Sprechen sie Deutch?"
I sent the scan to admin at bamfcentral....
The only other classic nighty bit that gets quoted as much in my house was from Claremont's '70's Uncanny run, Kurt and Amanda Sefton were hiding in the trunk of a car... going after Arcade, I think... and she says, "Watch the hands and tail, bub."
