Lose the Collar, Kurt- Club Thread

Naw. What bugs me is that it (the priest-angle "it") becomes canon in these one-off stories. Two billion--well, okay, just plain years from now, kids digging through dump bins will pick up this issue (and others like it) and think, "Priest? Since when?" But by then, Marvel will have deinstalled and reinstalled and Ultimiz/sed its continuity so many times that it won't much matter.

One more thing about that issue: Why would Kitty, in the midst of the nine-month Chicago bluster season, strip down to a sports bra to eat Chinese with Kurt? Obvious answer: JUST WAIT 'TIL DESSERT!! WOO HOO!! *ahem* Other obvious answer (at least from Marvel's point of view): Comic chicks must display skin whenever possible, especially when having DEEP, MEANINGFUL two-page conversations with old pals who are trying to be celibate. Yep. I just thought that a sweatshirt would have been more in character. I mean, Kurt's wearing one--and he has FUR.

Y'know... I kinda liked that story despite the obvious error of portraying Kurt as Priest-Boy.

Should I be frightened now?

I don't think I've gotten that one yet actually but I liked the one in 32.
I simply loved when he was talking to that guy at the top of the church or wherever they were. I love when he gets like that!:love::laugh: and when he was saying how everyone deserves a chance, the way he looks there. I dunno. I love that smile!:) I never like when he talks about being ashamed of being a mutant though. I'm just like honey what happened? You used to feel like others should change their views, not the other way around which is of course the wrong way!:(

ho-ho... looks like we have a competeing club out there! Abbatoir at X-Fan has founded the 'Keep the Collar, Kurt! Club.' anyone know if anyone besides him is a member? seen anyone else wandering aorund with that line in thier sigs?

he kept asking Chuck if Kurt would be preforming the wedding ceremony in Uncanny #525.... he wasn't too pleased when i told him Kurt would have left the priesthood several issues before that :p

we're having a lil debate with him in the Nightcrawler thread over the whole priesthood thing, and he was trying to recruit members to his club... to arms!!

They remind me of the Norse Gods. The outcome of their final battle has been declared. They WILL lose. It is there Destiny, and yet they push the fight on anyway.

An admirable trait, if they were not our archnemisis........
