Mr.Austen,

So long as you dont
1. kill kurt off

Okay. But only because you asked nicely. ;)

2. Turn him gay (been done to death since the 80's)

But Northstar NEEDS somebody to love.;)

3. Stick him in another shallow relationship with a bimbo

But bimbos tend to be naked a lot, and naked is good, in my book.

or, 4. leave him moping around as a priest, I should like what ever you do with the rest of the team, since I could care less about them for the most part.

Well, I love them all, but Kurt has a certain special fondness for me, definitely.

I think that it would be realistic and rather a good story to see Kurt fight his way back from depression and disillusion, and I dont mind if he is a bit cracked for a while.

Cracked, but with super glue close at hand. Got it.

If you have a relationship plan for him, I would like to see it take a while for it to play out

So no one night stands, in other words?

and I am sincerley hoping that you dont use him in your much talked about wedding plot.

Hmmm. (Delete, delete, delete...)

C'mon Austen,

C'mon Dredweezul.

cut the guy a little respect, He has been dissed to death for years, I would like to see him written as a man and not as the writers punching bag.

Kurt is one of my favorites. I don't turn my favorites into punching bags.

I too miss Kurt written as an intriguing character, and though I am wincing and waiting for the worst, I want to believe that you are going to do him the justice that he deserves.

Believe, my child. BELEEEEEIVE!! Can I get a halleluiah!?

Im just a scardy cat.

Try writing this series and waiting for fan response. You don't know scared, little one.

Ok, that was pretty grim :(

Indeed it was.

Speaking of grim, could we bring a little hope and fun back in to Uncanny?

No.

Please?

Okay.

Making the team somewhat cockey and a bit crazy works.

It did for Casey, anyway.

All this gloom and hopelesness makes a person wonder if they shouldnt all just eat Emma's cooking and die ;)

I like her cookies. ;)

I know that it has been popular during the 90's to write everything as grim and dark as possible,

Bit of a fad, if you ask me.

but Im starting to become morbid after reading the thing,

That makes at least two of us. At least.

and this chocolate covered coffee bean addiction has got to stop, help me out here .

You like those, too?

;) sorry for the rant-a-thon.

Perfectly all right. That's what I'm here for.

NEXT! [/b]
thoughts?

1.YAY!!
2. he better be joking! (about the crossdressing too) *gets summersausage ready*
3.
4. yay! (hmmm....cryptic...could he be gettin hitched?)

all the rest...:laugh::laugh: my faith in Chucks depiction of Kurt had been thoroughly restored :)

Yes...he certainly has a sense of humour about it all...

As for Kurt getting hitched...well...unless one of his older lady friends comes back...and he's really not on the best of terms with either one of them in the romantic respect, it seems unlikely...

But then, Wanda's on his list for possible guest stars...and Nocturne IS 'living' proof that those two got together in at least one reality...

i think that he ahs a sense of humour about things is great :) Chuck has a wicked wit, which will work absoultely FABULOUSLY when writing Characters such as Kurt (as he SHOULD be written) and Iceman, Stacy and Northstar. this is antother reason i fear for Archangel... he did some good stuff with the Gambit story with a character type similar in *some* ways to Archangel, but... Chuck seems to like the funny guys the best.

as for him getting hitched. i mena you never know. he could always patch things up with Amanda or Cerise, they werent THAT bad off, they were still friends all round. and hey, he could find someone new... but it's wide open, any one of them has an equal chance at this point of getting hitched, as they are all not in any relationship...

agreed.
but, umm, yea, kurt gettin hitched as a possibility seems a bit too soon for my tastes, I mean, he's still a freakin priest-in-training!

Bamfette, nice, there is something else I've found with Chuck, I'll post it when I go get it again.

But, have you thought of recruiting DredWeezul here?

or does she already go here?

And I didn't need that mental picture

Oooh, Chuck's a smart ass! I like him already. I'm waiting to see how Casey ends his run before I worry too much about Austen. I'm glad he likes Kurt, though, that's very encouraging.

I think Kurt's little breakdown and his experience as a trainee priest should affect him for a while at least. I would be happiest if he returned to his established personality, but an undertone of a change would be nice. Maybe he could become more sarcastic, or more critical of the Dream (like he is right now), but slowly regain his faith and humor over a few months.

As for him getting married... (I would say they won't make him gay) he'd have to recover REAL fast from his truamas to get married. Unless it is Amanda. I doubt we'll see Cerise back (maybe). I doubt it'll be him gettin' hitched.

And as I've said many times, now that he's in the movie he's bulletproof. No dead elves here!

:D

LOL
my guess for the wedding are Warren and Betsy. Who else could be?
*hoping than Kurt won't celebrate the vows for the wedding*:o

When I first read this on X-Fan It about killed me... I was a laughin' boy. Thoughts?

1. I am with Bamfette! But I sort of think with his long list the death may not be any of the curently active X-men... :)

2. Note to self: go to Hickory Farms for more S.S. (just incase)

3. Naked (as pointed out by Dredweezul in a latter post is not always good... Consider Blob and Toad for example...

4. Hitched ewould not be altogether bad... What if it was an affair of the heart that pulls him from the priesthood?

As of last report just like Francisco Franko Betsy Braddock is still valiantly holding on in her battle to remain dead... :dead: (If you remember where that one comes from then you spent way too many Saturday nights at home watching TV, more than a few years back.)
