Austen digs deep into Uncanny

Mister Marvel found this, and posted it at the Hangout. (the LM)
Writer Chuck Austen has been digging deep into the history of the X-Men for his upcoming tenure on Uncanny X-Men, beginning with August's issue #410. Austen is set to feature a host of familiar - and in some cases not so familiar - characters within the first year of planned stories.
The X-Men team under Austen will see four more members added to the line-up. Out of the four, only two have been revealed so far - former Alpha Flight member (and one-time X-Man) Northstar, as well as past X-Man Havok. Austen has also hinted that another of the new team members is a former Generation X team member, one that appeared on the cover to Generation X #50.
X-Fan recently caught up with Austen to find out more about who fans will see in Uncanny X-Men in his first year. Whilst reluctant to give out details, Austen did provide X-Fan with an extensive list of characters, but true to his recent style of dropping cryptic hints Austen included several "red herrings" to keep fans guessing.
Austen also revealed that there will be a wedding in issue #425, and that "everyone will be there." Austen also has plans to bring back a classic X-Men villain in a story that sees "a LOT of hostages" taken.
"So, with that and an anticipated accelerated schedule, if there's a mutant on the planet, they'll be in this book sometime in the next year," Austen told X-Fan. "Characters I wanted to use, but can't on any regular basis are all the ones in Chris {Claremont's} and Grant {Morrison's} books," Austen said. "Other than that they've given me pretty much free reign to use who I want, as you can see from the list."
Without further ado, here is the comprehensive list of characters that fans might see soon in Uncanny X-Men.
