Does anybody know where to find a fuzzy elf stuffed animal? I want to get it for my godson when he is born. Please let me know. You can email me at dperloff@foxrothschild.com.

Thank you.

We were just talking about this. :) Unfortunately, there aren't any being manufactured by Marvel. (Such bad taste!) Sometimes you can find customs online or on ebay. My advice? Check ebay, do a Google search, and if nothing comes up, harass someone here to stitch you one. I'd make one myself but I'm no good with a needle. ;)

That's a good idea!! But with my luck, whoever made it would include various flaws due to lack of comic knowledge.

Aww, Bob, you're so cynical! (Though, correct. XD) Well, they could scan a picture of it and we could all critique it before it's done!!!! :gum

I absolutely love it!!! The best Nightcrawler doll I've ever seen. I love all the different components: Evo-style face, original comic costume, and crucifix rosary. Where do I sign for it??

But I want a real Bamf, not Nightcrawler. Nightcrawler action figures, Bamf plush. That's how I roll...

*Sniff*
thats too bad that they aren't being made so more of the population can have them
:(

it would be really cool though,
I mean,
Nightcrawler is the only Superhero who has a plushie in the plot of his story
(kinda)
they should totally do it.

Exactly, even if just for publicity or something. As a spoof of the Marvel community.

I bet I could make one of those. All it'd take would be some fuzzy cloth and a bit of imagination for the tail. Shouldn't be hard.

...I think I have a new sewing project.

There is this link:

http://www.angelfire.com/yt/reverie/bamfreadme.html

Click on the blue links for the instructions and a photograph of the creator and her Bamf doll. I think it looks more like the Bamf doll than any other I have seen. It also looks pretty easy to make, although I haven't tried it yet.

Good luck!

Thank you, neling! I think I want to try! I haven't sewn anything since fourth grade... I wasn't too bad at it though! And it'll be a good comfort project for when I'm sad and friendless during that first month at college. :*)

Today I had almost nothing to do at work (I got to play bathroom monitor for 8 hours while the kids did testing) but the good thing was we could bring 'something to work on'- so I started work on my own little Bamf doll. (Sort of a self devised pattern)- it's not as fancy as the one in that picture, but I think it's pretty cute. Just felt. I should have pictures... this weekend, perhaps.

Couldn't wait to share- so I scanned the little guy.

I'm not a very apt dollmaker- so this guy is made mostly of felt and enthusiasm.

Awesome, Cat!!! I am SOOO jealous of people who can do stuff like that.

I would hire you to make one for The Old Broad, but my family might consider it a desecration of my shrine to Spider-man. (I have so much stuff that some of it is in a display case at the local library. No kidding.)

Of course, the 4-yr-old has a birthday coming up ... and she can spell BAMF, too ...

This isn't a plushie toy- but it's something I'm working on. I don't know if anyone has heard of 'munny'- but it's a vinyl toy that comes completely blank so you can customize it yourself. I saw it in the shop and immediately thought "That NEEDS to be a Nightcrawler!"

Right now I'm using prismacolor markers, but I'll probably paint it later. :)
