Well, there's the obvious "Hey! I'm a Priest for No Reason!!!" thing..
but my biggest complaint when he came back to the X-Men was how not much was being written about him at all. He was just sort of wallpaper. Stuck in the background, occationally saying "Ach!" or delivering a plot point.
One example I used to illustrate my problem with the books at that time, was Nightcrawler and Gambit. These two characters had never been on a team together before, and in almost 2 years in the same books they'd never had a real conversation or even expressed any opinions about eachother.

I like the whole idea of him being a priest and all, but he doesn't seem to act like one...:dead: Since, of course, a priest is supposed to be all...priest-like.
As for our darling Kurty Wurty and Remey, I was wanderin' the same thing. I have a story where Kurt and Remey are fighting over a girl... But I think I should drop that idea. In fact, I told the whole second block class at my school that I am actually a female version of Nightcrawler, ha ha, ha! Well, I do act like him now and then.
I just love our beloved Fuzzy elf. :

My biggest problem thus far has to be with the way he looks. I'm not talking about the new costume. It just seems as if no matter who draws him, he doesn't look very agile anymore. It's as if he's stiffened(sp?) up in like the last 40 or so issues.

Yeah, well, much as I love Alan Davis, sometimes he drew Nighty with a stick up his butt. He looked REALLY stiff sometimes then. The AMAZING POSTURE MAN!
On the whole, I haven't liked the way he's been handled, until now. Things are finally getting better.

There's something about Alan Davis his work I don't like, can't really put my finger on it. But Kurt has been in the background way too much IMO, especially during the Davis/CC/Lobdell run.

yeah they have been doing a really lousy job of showing his agility... i wasn't really a fan of Churchill overall, though he did design some nifty costumes, but he atleast had Kurt jumping around and showing some flexibility....
but writing wise, i couldn't be happier with Chuck! we finally got our 'crawler back!

True, while Alan Davis never showed Kurt doing much agilty wise during his run on the X-Men. He has done FAR more than enough while working on Excalibur. Plus, I'm an Alan Davis fanboy so I have to stick up for him.

The only problem with Kurty is that he is a sucker for the female form. If he sees as much as a skirt, you'll definitely will know he'll try on her, if you know what I mean.
First he starts to flirt, she is accustomed to his charms and as for me, if he even tried to make a move on me, I'll slap him.
Seriously.

I know what you mean. I had a strange dream (envolved X-Men Evolution Kurt) that all of these rabid teenagers were chasing him and I was helping him escape.
Me: Dang, Kurt! Why do you have to be so cute?!
Kurt: It's not my fault that I'm irresistable!
Me: Don't flatter yourself! Just keep running!
Kurt: You know a place where I can hide?
Besides you're bedroom, that is.
Me: How does he know-? Don't get any ideas, Kurt Wagner!
Kurt: I'm not!
It was so FUNNY!

oy, no kidding. One of my friends used to tease me about having a crush on him. That is, until I showed her some of my comics. Heheh. Not a word about crushes on comic book characters since.
"We don't need another hero, we don't need to know the way home. All we want is life beyond the thunderdome." "Words fail, buildings tumble, the ground opens wide. Light beams down from heaven, she stands before my eyes. She's actual size but she seems much bigger to me."

my two exboyfriends were jealous of him hehe
but they had crushes on respectively characters of videogames and comics ( Jade and Witchblade) so they had nothing to blame on me!
and also i made two of my female friends fix their eyes on him

Sounds about right (after all, Kitty's a real woman, and doesn't rely on pose-tastic boob-and-butt shots or enormous power-boosts for her popularity) . Although I must admit - I think I'm developing quite a thing for Kurt myself :Originally posted by ahmed

Even if it'll be English Psylocke that holds my heart for the foreseeable future: :bets: = ;pant;
At least in my view.

Oh, I'm an Alan Davis fan as well. I loved his runs on Excalibur, and he did more for Nighty than any writer/artist since. But, sometimes he draws people with the stiffest postures, not just Nighty. He was the first artist to have Kurt stand completely upright and bring his face out of shadow, and for that I thank him. But I think he could have chilled on that posture sometimes.
And, yep, Kurt to girls is like Kitty for guys.
Kurt:
Women want him
Men want to be him
and vice versa for Kitty.

yep, I loved Davis's run on Excalibur, abnd i love his art in general, but i guess he does have a tndency to have people strike downright rigid poses at times. but the thing i liked about Davis' 'Crawler was that he looked equally comfortable standing up straight and down in a loose crouch.

You better believe it. Nightcrawler is one of the few X-Men males that definitely has sex appeal. He has the body of Arnold Schwarzzennegar, the personality of both Errol Flynn and Don Juan.
I remember another dream regarding Nightcrawler flirting with the girls in my chorus class, while one of my guy friends said, "What's he got that I don't got?"
He is definitely envied by men. I showed a picture of Nightcrawler to my mom, but she didn't think he was sexy. I was so shocked, she thought he was ugly! Wait till I prove to her that she is wrong!
The boys are gonna wanna BE him and are going to be swarming him, asking questions like, "How do we get girls? We want girls!" Imagine that?
